About This Opportunity

CTI Staffing is partnering with a leading grocery retail organization to find a POS Analyst supporting overnight point-of-sale deployments, based remotely within the Salisbury/Mooresville, NC area. This is an overnight-shift role, approximately 11:00 PM to 7:00/8:00 AM, Sunday night through Thursday night, on an ongoing basis.

This role sits at the center of how a major retailer keeps its stores running through system upgrades and conversions. You'll work overnight, validating deployments as they go live, troubleshooting issues in real time, and keeping vendors and store teams aligned so conversions land clean. It's a hands-on, high-visibility role for someone who's comfortable owning problems independently in the middle of the night.

What You'll Do

• Lead and support overnight POS code deployments and store conversions
  
• Validate successful deployment of code and configuration changes
  
• Troubleshoot deployment-related issues and coordinate resolution with internal teams and vendors
  
• Conduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions
  
• Use SQL to investigate and resolve data and configuration issues
  
• Write and maintain batch scripts to support deployment and troubleshooting work
  
• Document findings, solutions, and deployment outcomes clearly
  
• Communicate issues, risks, and resolutions to stakeholders in real time
  

Requirements

What You Bring

Must-Have:

• Experience supporting or administering point-of-sale (POS) systems
  
• Ability and willingness to work an overnight shift, approximately 11:00 PM to 7:00/8:00 AM, Sunday night through Thursday night, on an ongoing basis
  
• Working knowledge of SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting
  
• Batch scripting experience
  
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  
• Strong analytical and root cause problem-solving skills
  
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
  

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with retail POS platforms (e.g., NCR StoreLine, NCR Emerald)
  
• Experience supporting wireless Android-based applications
  
• Prior retail technology deployment experience
  
• Experience coordinating with third-party vendors and implementation teams
  

What Success Looks Like:

• Independently owns overnight deployment windows with minimal escalation
  
• Diagnoses and resolves POS/configuration issues quickly under pressure
  
• Builds trusted working relationships with vendors and store teams during live conversions
