  • Translate educational vision into new programs, models, and ways for students and professionals to relate to Jewish learning, Torah, Israel, Shabbat, Jewish community, and Jewish peoplehood.
  • Identify and support opportunities to deploy and elevate the voices of Hillel professionals across the Hillel field, and key leadership within the Schusterman International Center.
  • Serve as a visible public voice of Torah and Jewish learning through teaching, writing, speaking, and participation in the conversations that matter most to Hillel and the broader Jewish community.

Portfolio Management

  • Provide strategic leadership to the Center for Jewish and Israel Education and the Meyerhoff Center for Jewish Experience, creating greater coordination and collaboration while understanding and strengthening their distinct areas of expertise.
  • Assess the existing Jewish educational portfolio with clarity and discernment, determining which programs should be sustained, strengthened, expanded, redesigned, or concluded.
