Supply Chain Specialist

Role Purpose

The Supply Chain Specialist supports day-to-day sourcing, procurement, supplier coordination, and material availability within a manufacturing environment. This role manages purchasing activities, monitors supplier commitments, maintains accurate procurement records, and partners with cross-functional teams in multiple geographies to support cost, quality, inventory, and on-time delivery objectives. This role is based in Anaheim, CA but is also open to remote work.

Work Experience & Skills

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field preferred. Equivalent combinations of education, training, and directly related work experience may be considered. Professional certification such as CPSM, CSCP, or PMP is a plus.

Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in sourcing, purchasing, procurement, or supply chain functions, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Experience with supplier coordination, purchase orders, and ERP/MRP systems required.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements 

Work environment: Combination of office and manufacturing floor environment. Subject to inside environmental conditions with protection from weather conditions, though not necessarily from temperature changes.

Physical or operational requirements: Sedentary to light work. May exert up to 20 pounds occasionally and up to 10 pounds frequently. May require standing and walking on the production floor and occasional travel to both intracompany and supplier sites. Close visual acuity required for reviewing purchase information, supplier quotations, reports, and computer systems.
