About the Role
SeeWhy Learning is seeking a Study Coach and Curriculum Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for financial services, education, and helping learners achieve their professional goals.
As a Junior SST, you will support students preparing for financial services and insurance licensing examinations by providing coaching, guidance, and educational support through phone, email, live chat, and webinar platforms. You will play an important role in helping students understand complex concepts, stay motivated in their studies, and successfully complete their examination requirements.
This is a remote work-from-home position requiring a dedicated home office environment with reliable internet access. Candidates must be authorized to work in Canada.

What You'll Do
Student Coaching & Support
- Provide individualized coaching and study support to students preparing for financial services and insurance licensing examinations.
- Answer questions regarding course materials, study approaches, and exam preparation through phone, email, live chat, and webinar platforms.
- Simplify complex financial and insurance concepts into easy-to-understand explanations that support student success.
- Encourage, motivate, and guide students throughout their learning journey.
Webinar Facilitation & Training Delivery
- Facilitate structured webinars and virtual training sessions using Webex or similar online meeting platforms.
- Deliver educational presentations to students and corporate partners.
- Maintain a professional and engaging virtual learning environment.
Student Progress Monitoring
- Track student progress, course completion, and exam success metrics.
- Prepare and communicate reports and updates to internal stakeholders and external partners as required.
- Identify students who may benefit from additional support and provide proactive outreach when appropriate.
Learning Content Maintenance
- Assist with maintaining and updating existing training materials and educational resources.
- Review content for accuracy, consistency, and effectiveness.
- Support ongoing curriculum and learning experience improvements.
Additional Responsibilities
- Participate in onboarding, training, and professional development activities.
- Maintain confidentiality of student and organizational information.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong interest in financial services, investing, insurance, or financial education.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
- Ability to explain technical or complex information in a clear and understandable manner.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and/or Google Workspace.
- Experience supporting customers, students, learners, or clients in a professional environment is preferred.
- Bilingual (English and French) is a plus!

Completion of or exposure to one or more of the following is considered an asset:
- Canadian Securities Course (CSC)
- Investment Funds in Canada (IFC)
- Canadian Investment Funds Course (CIFC)
- Life Licence Qualification Program (LLQP)
- CIRO proficiency examinations (CIRE, RSE)
- Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH)
- Wealth Management Essentials (WME)
- Derivatives Fundamentals and Options Licensing (DFOL)
- Passion for the financial services industry and continuous learning.
- Ability to learn new subject matter quickly and apply knowledge effectively.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range of $53,000 – $58,000 CAD annually, commensurate with experience, education, skills, and qualifications.
- Eligible for health insurance benefits after three months of employment.
- Eligible for profit-sharing bonuses after three months of employment.
