THE ROLE:

AMD is seeking a Strategic Enterprise Account Executive to serve as the executive account leader for some of AMD's largest and most strategic enterprise customers across the Northeast region. This is one of AMD's most senior field sales individual contributor roles, responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding AMD's market presence, and building long-term strategic partnerships with top-tier enterprise organizations.

 

The Strategic Enterprise Account Executive will develop and execute multi-year account strategies focused on expanding AMD's footprint across Data Center, AI Infrastructure, Cloud, Commercial Client, and emerging workload opportunities. This role requires deep executive engagement, consultative selling expertise, and the ability to align AMD's innovation roadmap with customer business priorities and digital transformation initiatives.

 

Success in this role requires strong collaboration across AMD's ecosystem, including OEMs, Cloud Service Providers, System Integrators, Channel Partners, and AMD's internal Sales, Engineering, Business Unit, and Marketing organizations. The ideal candidate is a respected industry leader who can influence executive decision-makers, uncover new opportunities, and drive complex enterprise sales motions that deliver measurable business outcomes.

You are a highly accomplished enterprise sales professional with a proven track record of growing strategic accounts, influencing executive stakeholders, and delivering exceptional business results.

 

You bring:

 

  • Demonstrated success in senior enterprise sales roles with consistent overachievement against revenue and growth objectives
  • Extensive experience managing and expanding relationships within large, strategic enterprise accounts
  • Deep understanding of enterprise infrastructure, cloud, AI, and digital transformation trends
  • Established network of executive relationships across key enterprise organizations within the Northeast region
  • Executive presence with the ability to influence business and technology leaders at the C-suite level
  • Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to align technology solutions to business outcomes
  • Relentless focus on execution, customer success, and measurable results
  • Strong operational discipline, forecasting rigor, and account planning expertise
  • Collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence across organizational boundaries and matrixed teams

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Account Leadership

  • Serve as the executive account leader for AMD's most strategic enterprise customers within the Northeast region
  • Develop and execute multi-year strategic account plans that expand AMD's footprint across Data Center, AI Infrastructure, Cloud, Commercial Client, and emerging workload opportunities
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with executive business and technology stakeholders
  • Influence customer technology roadmaps by aligning AMD's innovation strategy with enterprise business priorities and future infrastructure investments

 

Revenue Growth & Business Development

  • Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities that drive revenue growth, market share expansion, and long-term customer value
  • Develop and execute account growth strategies that increase AMD adoption across enterprise infrastructure and end-user computing environments
  • Drive expansion within existing accounts while uncovering new opportunities across business units, divisions, and geographies
  • Influence and shape winning strategies for complex enterprise opportunities

 

AI, Data Center & Commercial Client Solutions

  • Drive adoption of AMD Ryzen™ and Ryzen™ PRO commercial client platforms, including AI-enabled PC initiatives and next-generation workplace computing solutions
  • Drive adoption of AMD EPYC™ and AMD Instinct™ based server, AI, and data center solutions supporting cloud modernization, AI workloads, analytics, HPC, and enterprise infrastructure transformation
  • Position AMD's portfolio as a strategic enabler of customer AI, cloud, and digital transformation objectives

 

Ecosystem & Go-To-Market Leadership

  • Define and execute joint go-to-market strategies with OEMs, Cloud Service Providers, System Integrators, and Channel Partners
  • Collaborate across AMD's ecosystem to develop customer-centric solutions that address complex business and technical challenges
  • Coordinate executive engagement strategies across AMD and partner organizations to maximize customer impact

 

Operational Excellence

  • Maintain disciplined account planning, forecasting, pipeline management, and opportunity tracking through Salesforce CRM
  • Manage budgets, investments, and resources in accordance with AMD guidelines
  • Leverage data, analytics, and AI-enabled tools to improve account planning, customer engagement, pipeline development, and sales productivity

 

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

Enterprise Sales Leadership

  • Proven success selling into large, strategic enterprise organizations with a consistent track record of exceeding sales targets
  • Experience managing a portfolio of top-tier enterprise accounts and expanding revenue through strategic account planning and executive engagement

 

Strategic Account Management

  • Demonstrated success developing and executing complex enterprise sales strategies that drive measurable business outcomes
  • Strong experience navigating long sales cycles, multiple stakeholders, and enterprise procurement processes

 

Partner Ecosystem Experience

  • Strong relationships and experience working with multinational OEMs, Cloud Service Providers, System Integrators, and Channel Partners
  • Proven ability to build and leverage ecosystem partnerships to accelerate customer success

 

Technical & Industry Expertise

  • Strong understanding of Data Center, Servers, AI Infrastructure, Cloud Services, Storage, Enterprise Graphics, and Commercial Client platforms
  • Ability to articulate AMD's differentiated value proposition across enterprise infrastructure and AI-driven workloads
  • Understanding of enterprise AI adoption trends, hybrid cloud strategies, and modern workplace transformation initiatives

 

Operational & AI-Enabled Selling

  • Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools, automation, analytics, and data-driven insights to improve sales effectiveness, customer engagement, forecasting, and business planning
  • Proven success operating within global, matrixed organizations and influencing without direct authority

 

 

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.

 

 

LOCATION:

Remote role based in the Greater Boston Area.
