About the Role & Team
We are looking for a Staff Product Manager to own Retail Experiences, the digital products guests use when they visit PENN’s properties. Our app is meant to be a companion for the entire on-property journey: arriving, getting oriented, finding what’s happening, accessing services, being recognized and rewarded, and heading home with a reason to come back. This role owns the strategy for that journey and the roadmap that brings it to life.

This is a senior, high-impact individual contributor role. You will own a portfolio of product areas and drive them through influence, partnering with Engineering, Design, Data, Marketing, Retail Operations, Compliance, and property leadership. You will be the guest’s advocate in every room and the person who connects digital product decisions to what actually happens on the ground at our properties.

About the Work

  • Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for Retail Experiences, with end-to-end ownership from discovery through launch and iteration.
  • Champion the guest by mapping the full on-property journey, finding the moments of friction and opportunity, and turning them into prioritized product bets.
  • Build digital features that connect to the physical environment, including location-aware experiences, property services, personalized offers, and in-the-moment loyalty recognition.
  • Partner with product teams across the organization like Growth, Core and Hospitality to create a user centric experience.
  • Work closely with Retail Operations and property teams to understand frontline realities, pilot new capabilities, and scale rollouts across a varied portfolio of properties.
  • Partner with Engineering on integrations with property systems, hardware, and third-party services, and own the mobile release process in coordination with delivery teams.
  • Develop go-to-market and adoption plans that bring guests and property teams along, including content, communications, and in-property activation.
  • Use research, behavioral data, competitive analysis, and experimentation to prioritize, measure incremental impact, and continually improve the experience.
  • Balance guest experience goals with regulatory, compliance, and responsible gaming requirements.
  • Bring clarity to ambiguity: turn a broad set of needs across many stakeholders into a focused strategy and a roadmap people can rally behind.
  • Influence and align senior stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Design, Data, Marketing, Operations, Compliance, Finance, and our property and business teams.
  • Other duties as required.

About You

  • 7+ years of product management experience, with a track record of owning consumer mobile or digital products from strategy through launch and iteration at scale.
  • Experience building guest, customer, or member facing products that connect digital and physical experiences, such as hospitality, travel, entertainment, ticketing, retail, or loyalty.
  • Strong product sense and deep empathy for the end user, with the ability to translate research and journey mapping into clear priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to define a product vision and strategy, then translate it into focused roadmaps that deliver incremental value.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams through influence across engineering, design, data, marketing, and operations in an agile environment.
  • Familiarity with the iOS and Android release process, and with content management and configuration tools that support go-to-market delivery.
  • Strong technical fluency and experience partnering with Engineering on APIs, integrations, and platform architecture.
  • Strong analytical judgment, with experience using A/B testing, analytics, and measurement to understand impact and optimize investments.
  • Experience working with operations-heavy, multi-location organizations and driving adoption among frontline teams.
  • Strong executive communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Experience in hospitality technology or regulated industries such as gaming or financial services is a plus.

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation package.
  • Fun, relaxed work environment.
  • Education and conference reimbursements.
  • Opportunities for career progression and mentoring others.
