About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sr. Wellbeing & Benefits Administrator – Global to lead the day-to-day administration and continuous improvement of our employee benefits and wellbeing programs.
This role is primarily focused on our U.S. associate population, while also coordinating locally compliant and competitive benefit programs for employees in the United Kingdom and Germany.
This is both a hands-on and strategic role. The right person will be equally comfortable helping an employee navigate a complex coverage issue, managing the details of benefit administration, leading annual enrollment and renewals, analyzing plan performance and costs, advising leadership, and helping shape an organization-wide approach to employee wellbeing.
Success in this role requires strong employee benefits expertise, exceptional employee service, sound judgment, operational discipline, and the ability to turn complex data and regulatory requirements into practical recommendations.
What You'll Do
- Lead U.S. benefits administration, including medical, dental, vision, life, FMLA and disability leaves, HSA/FSA, EAP, 401(k), COBRA, voluntary benefits, and related programs.
- Coordinate benefits in the United Kingdom and Germany, partnering with local brokers, advisors, payroll teams, and other resources to support locally compliant and competitive programs.
- Serve as a senior resource for employees and managers, explaining complex benefit provisions, resolving enrollment and claims issues, and providing thoughtful, high-touch support during sensitive life events.
- Manage benefit program operations, including enrollments, qualifying life events, terminations, coverage changes, eligibility audits, carrier feeds, records, and documentation across HRIS, payroll, and vendor systems.
- Lead annual enrollment and renewal activities, including project planning, employee education and communications, executive updates, system configuration, testing, and post-enrollment audits.
- Evaluate program performance using utilization, claims, enrollment, benchmarking, cost, and other relevant data, translating findings into recommendations for leadership.
- Partner with benefit providers, brokers, consultants, and other external partners to manage service delivery, resolve issues, evaluate opportunities, and support renewals and program changes.
- Identify opportunities to improve benefit processes, employee understanding, technology, and overall employee experience.
- Develop and advance our employee wellbeing strategy, identifying programs and resources that support employees while evaluating participation, outcomes, and organizational value.
- Maintain working knowledge of applicable benefits requirements and market practices in the U.S., UK, and Germany, partnering with appropriate advisors when specialized local expertise is needed.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and progressively responsible experience.
- At least 10 years of progressive employee benefits experience, including substantial hands-on U.S. benefits administration and program leadership.
- Experience supporting benefits in the United Kingdom and Germany, including effective partnership with in-country brokers, advisors, payroll teams, and legal counsel.
- Experience working in a small to midsize organization, where benefits leadership requires both strategic ownership and direct execution.
- Demonstrated experience leading annual enrollment, renewals, vendor transitions, plan communications, audits, and HRIS or benefits-platform administration.
- Working knowledge of U.S. health and welfare, retirement, leave, privacy, and compliance requirements, along with practical familiarity with the statutory and market context for benefits in the UK and Germany.
- Experience developing or materially advancing employee wellbeing programs and evaluating their participation, outcomes, and value.
Skills That Will Help You Succeed
- Exceptional employee-service orientation, empathy, discretion, and sound judgment when working with sensitive information.
- Ability to move comfortably between detailed benefits administration, employee support, project leadership, data analysis, and strategic advising.
- Strong analytical and financial acumen, including the ability to interpret utilization, claims, enrollment, benchmarking, and cost data and turn findings into clear recommendations.
- Strong written, verbal, facilitation, and presentation skills, with the ability to make complex benefit concepts understandable to employees, managers, executives, and external partners.
- Advanced proficiency with HRIS and benefits administration platforms; ADP experience is strongly preferred.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and comfort using reporting, collaboration, analytics, and AI-enabled productivity tools responsibly.
- Strong project management, vendor management, negotiation, and change-management capabilities.
- High attention to detail, strong ownership, and the ability to independently prioritize competing demands in a fast-moving environment.
Work Environment
This position requires the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, manage a high volume of responsibilities with accuracy, and exercise discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information.
