The Sr. IT Manager will oversee Trading Operations for a leading brokerage's global front office systems, ensuring the efficient operation of mission-critical trading applications. This role involves interacting with global stakeholders and acting as a subject matter expert for various trading applications.
Key Areas of Responsibilities
- Work on Trading Operations for Asia’s Leading Brokerage’s Global Front Office Systems
- Interact with Dealers/Traders/Business Heads across the globe as required
- Global role covering Execution Services
- Multi-asset though our focus is Equities & Derivatives (will grow with Clitics – our parent)
- Work on cost efficiency model
- Ensure excellent 24x7 Operation of CLSA’s core mission-critical Trading application stack.
- Act as the SME for all OMS/EMS/Market connectivity applications
- Partner closely with Application Development and Support teams to rollout new services seamless and efficiently.
- Act as a mentor to train junior staff and groom people
- Ensure that the estate is instrumented and monitored effectively
- Establish and maintain an effective framework that provides a comprehensive management controls to protect the Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of CLSA’s information assets.
- Participate in on-call support rotation
- Providing timely server recovery
- Schedule and document regular changes according to company's change management rules & guidelines
- Ensure that production environment is kept stable and efficient
- Adherence to CLSA documented governance guidelines
- Provide at all times an excellent, fast and responsive service to other teams
Requirements
- Experience working in Equities Brokerage Front Office systems support, preferably bulge bracket investment bank.
- Development and Production support experience with good problem solving and trouble shooting skills.
- Must have exposure to working directly with end customers/business, vendors, other project stakeholders as needed.
- Prefer candidates with regional experience

- At-least 10-12 years of experience in Front office Trading application support
- Strong Stakeholder management for application related stakeholders
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or IT related area
- Professional qualification (preference CISSP / CISA / CISM)
- ITIL process adherence (change, release, incident, problem management)
- Good technical knowledge
- Good command of spoken and written English.
