IT Leader managing the Services Outage Execution portfolio. Directs field readiness initiatives, ensuring employees have the necessary connectivity and equipment for onsite work. Leads programs to enhance field productivity and data accessibility in support of customer outage commitments.

Job Description

In this role, you will proactively and holistically help guide business and IT teams through transformation and optimization initiatives, supporting the formation of strategy using Services value stream framework.

 

Global Services delivers post Implementation services to external customers In areas of CSA, Outage Management and Projects Services globally.

 

As a IT Leader managing the Services Outage Execution portfolio for Gas Power Global Services, you will be accountable for the following priorities (including leading a team):

1. Portfolio & Process Governance

• • End-to-End Ownership: Serve as the strategic owner for the Services Outage Execution process and its associated application portfolio.
  • Lifecycle Management: Oversee the performance, maintenance, and optimization of critical applications supporting outage workflows.
  • Continuous Improvement: Evaluate current processes to identify gaps, ensuring IT solutions evolve to meet changing business requirements.

2. Field Operations & Readiness

• • Infrastructure Logistics: Lead the proactive provisioning and lifecycle management of IT equipment, including hardware and PC availability for a mobile, customer-facing workforce.
  • Site Connectivity: Ensure robust onsite connectivity solutions are defined and implemented, guaranteeing that field teams have the bandwidth and network stability required to complete GE Vernova work.
  • Readiness Standards: Establish and enforce deployment protocols that ensure field employees are fully "site-ready" before arriving at customer locations.

3. Strategic Productivity & Innovation

• • Program Leadership: Drive the identification, business case development, and execution of technology programs focused on increasing the output and efficiency of field personnel.
  • Use of AI to drive productivity: Lead efforts to improve data accessibility and visibility, ensuring field teams have the right information at the right time to meet complex customer commitments.
  • Solution Delivery: Translate business challenges into technical solutions, managing program delivery from concept through to field implementation.

4. Stakeholder & Customer Impact

• • Commitment Alignment: Ensure all IT-led initiatives are directly tied to the successful delivery of outage milestones and customer satisfaction.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with operations and field service leaders to advocate for and deliver the technology needed for successful site execution.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in   Information Technology areas with minimum 10 years of relevant experience

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $154,800.00 and $258,000.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

 

 

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
