Sr Business Analyst with AI

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our product development

organization responsible for delivering enterprise software solutions hosted on Microsoft

Azure. This role serves as the critical bridge between business stakeholders, product

management, architecture, engineering, and operations teams to ensure business needs are

translated into high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions.

The Senior Business Analyst works closely with Product Managers, Product Owners,

Engineering Leads, Solution Architects, UX Designers, and development teams to define

product capabilities, document requirements, improve business processes, and drive

successful delivery outcomes.

The ideal candidate combines strong business analysis expertise, experience working within

Agile software delivery teams, a solid understanding of cloud-based applications, and working

knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies and AI-enabled business solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Requirements Management

•Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and requirements gathering sessions.

•Ensure requirements are aligned with product strategy and organizational objectives.

•Validate proposed solutions meet business needs and expected outcomes.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, challenges, and

opportunities.

Elicit, analyze, document, and manage business, functional, and non-functional

requirements.

Translate business needs into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and

business rules.

Business Analysts are expected to provide detailed analytical expertise while partnering closely

with Product Owners and product teams to ensure successful product outcomes.

Agile Product Delivery

•Participate in Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Reviews, and Retrospectives.

•Help development teams understand requirements and business context.

•Clarify requirements throughout the software development lifecycle.

•Support Agile delivery and continuous improvement initiatives.

Partner with Product Managers and Product Owners to refine and maintain product

backlogs.

Support prioritization of features, enhancements, technical debt, and operational

improvements.

Experience in backlog management and working within Scrum-based delivery organizations is

identified as a key Business Analyst capability.

Enterprise Software Analysis

•Define future-state business capabilities and process improvements.

•Analyze complex enterprise business processes and identify opportunities for

optimization.

Create functional specifications, process models, workflows, wireframes, and business

requirements documentation.

Evaluate impacts of proposed changes across applications, integrations, processes, and

stakeholders.

Ensure traceability between requirements, development activities, testing, and business

outcomes.

Experience with functional specifications, system development, APIs, SQL, and solution design

is considered highly valuable for modern Business Analyst roles.

Azure-Based Product Development Support

•Analyze system interactions, interfaces, data flows, and platform dependencies.

•Develop sufficient technical understanding of Microsoft Azure-based platforms to

effectively collaborate with engineering teams.

Participate in solution design discussions involving cloud-native applications and

integrations.

Support requirements related to scalability, performance, security, compliance, and

operational support.

Work with architects and developers to ensure business requirements align with technical

implementation approaches.

AI & Intelligent Solution Enablement

•Help define requirements for AI-powered product features and intelligent automation.

•Contribute to requirements and acceptance criteria for AI-enabled solutions.

•Promote responsible and ethical use of AI within enterprise applications.

Identify opportunities where AI capabilities can improve business outcomes, operational

efficiency, and user experience.

Support the analysis of AI use cases including conversational interfaces, intelligent search,

recommendation engines, and agent-driven workflows.

Assist stakeholders in understanding AI capabilities, limitations, governance requirements,

and risks.

Enterprise product organizations increasingly leverage AI-driven interfaces, agentic workflows,

and AI-enabled business solutions delivered through Azure-based platforms.

Stakeholder Management & Communication

•Build strong relationships with business and technology stakeholders.

•Facilitate communication between business users and delivery teams.

•Manage competing priorities across multiple initiatives.

•Drive consensus and resolve requirement ambiguities.

Present findings, recommendations, and solution proposals to leadership and project

teams.

Required Qualifications

Education

•8+ years of Business Analyst experience within software product development

Environments, equivalent professional experience will be considered.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science,

Engineering, or a related field.

Experience supporting enterprise-scale software products.

•Experience working within Agile and Scrum delivery frameworks.

•Experience leading requirements activities across multiple initiatives and stakeholders.

Experience collaborating with Product Management, Engineering, Architecture, and UX

teams.
