As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a Site Contracts & Budgets Lead, Sponsor-Dedicated to join a strategic partnership with a leading pharmaceutical sponsor. In this role, you will play a critical part in driving study start-up success by overseeing regional site budget and contract activities, ensuring timely execution, effective escalation management, and collaboration across international study teams.
What You'll Do
As a Site Contracts & Budgets Lead, you will:
- Lead the development, negotiation, administration, and execution of Clinical Trial Agreements and site budgets for assigned countries.
- Oversee country-level budget setup activities, including budget parameters development and maintenance.
- Serve as an escalation point for complex site budget and contract issues, partnering with Study Start-Up, Clinical Operations, and Contracts & Budgets teams.
- Leverage industry benchmarking tools, data sources, and fair market value guidance to support budget negotiations and contract decisions.
- Identify potential risks and delays proactively, driving solutions to maintain study start-up timelines.
- Manage site contract and budget negotiation milestones to ensure sites achieve "Ready to Enroll" status in accordance with project plans.
- Support continuous process improvement initiatives through innovative approaches, technologies, methodologies, and data-driven insights.
- Contribute to operational excellence and consistent delivery of high-quality sponsor-dedicated services.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, Business, or another relevant field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in clinical research site contracting and budgeting within a pharmaceutical company, CRO, or related industry environment.
- Demonstrated experience developing and managing country/regional and site budgets.
- At least 2 years of oversight experience in site budgeting and contracting activities.
- Strong understanding of the principles and strategies that drive country-level and site-level budgeting and contracting.
- Ability to analyse and interpret data to support informed, data-driven decision making.
- Proven negotiation, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting global or regional clinical trials.
- Experience working within sponsor-dedicated or strategic partnership models.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
