As a Global Front End Senior Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for

• Contributing to drive cross commodity and business oriented initiatives to streamline business processes and standards

  • Capturing of COQ (Cost of Quality) and VR (Vendor Recovery)

  • Drive a supplier strategy governance to align expectations and capacity on qualification activities serving deflation projects and cost out activities.

  • Suppliers’ Scorecards

  • Suppliers’ Capability Matrix

• Acting as a specialized escalation resource for critical, cross-plant supplier quality issues, providing flexible, on-demand leadership and applying advanced problem-solving methodologies to resolve high-impact supply disruptions

• Driving improvement initiatives to top offender suppliers on a global scale to reduce the number of disturbances/nonconformances to BH facilities

• Being the project leader of medium sized projects or is a major contributor to bigger projects. Work goals typically take 3-6 months to complete and the time horizon for results/impact is typically 2-12 months after the event Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (engineering degree as a matter of preference)

• At least 8-10 years of experience, thereof minimum of 2-3 additional years of experience covering Quality Roles. (previous expertise in oil & gas/automotive business as a plus).

• Fluent English mandatory

• Project Management experience

• Experience with QA/QC tools and problem-solving techniques.

• Willingness to travel frequently (up to 50% of the time).

• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Ability to influence others and lead small teams.

• Own a significant experience in one or more of the following industrial areas: raw material, machined parts, engineered systems.

• Have a data driven mindset.

• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

For Italy: The initial pay range for this position will be EUR 51,200 To 70,400.   The provisions of Contratto Collettivo Industria Metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti will be applied to this position. Section VI – Titolo IV of that collective bargaining agreement relates to pay
