Solutions Architect

We are seeking a Solutions Architect to join the Consultec team. You are passionate about designing scalable, secure, resilient, and high-performing technology solutions that align business needs with technical capabilities. You combine strong architectural expertise with a deep understanding of software development, cloud platforms, integrations, and enterprise systems, and you are comfortable working directly with clients and technical teams to turn complex requirements into practical solutions.

This is a remote position.

Advanced English proficiency (C1 level) is mandatory, as the role requires frequent communication, technical discussions, and collaboration with international teams and clients.

You will:

• Design end-to-end solution architectures aligned with business requirements, technical constraints, security standards, and scalability needs.

• Define architecture principles, technical standards, integration patterns, and development guidelines across projects.

• Translate business and functional requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.

• Design cloud-native and hybrid architectures using platforms such as Azure, AWS, and GCP.

• Define backend, frontend, data, integration, security, and infrastructure components required for each solution.

• Design and oversee REST APIs, gRPC services, microservices, event-driven architectures, and enterprise integration solutions.

• Evaluate technologies, frameworks, platforms, and architectural approaches based on project needs.

• Collaborate closely with Software Engineers, Technical Leads, DevOps, QA, Cybersecurity, Data teams, Product, and business stakeholders.

• Lead technical discovery sessions, architecture workshops, and solution design discussions with clients.

• Create and maintain architecture diagrams, technical documentation, solution blueprints, and integration specifications.

• Identify technical risks, dependencies, performance constraints, and scalability challenges early in the solution lifecycle.

• Define strategies for availability, resiliency, disaster recovery, observability, security, and performance.

• Support technical estimations, project planning, and implementation roadmaps.

• Provide technical guidance to development teams and ensure alignment with defined architecture.

• Review implementations and support teams in resolving complex architectural and technical issues.

• Ensure solutions follow security, compliance, data protection, and industry best practices.

• Contribute to the continuous evolution of architecture standards, reusable components, and technology capabilities.

Ideally, you'd have:

• At least 5 years of professional experience in software engineering, systems architecture, or solution architecture.

• Proven experience designing enterprise-level solutions and complex distributed systems.

• Strong knowledge of software architecture principles, design patterns, SOLID principles, Clean Architecture, and domain-driven design concepts.

• Strong understanding of backend technologies such as .NET / C# and Java Spring Boot.

• Knowledge of modern frontend architectures and technologies such as React and Next.js.

• Experience designing REST APIs, gRPC services, microservices, and event-driven architectures.

• Strong knowledge of enterprise integration patterns and API management.

• Experience with relational and non-relational databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, or similar.

• Strong experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and/or GCP.

• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Knowledge of CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, DevOps practices, and modern software delivery processes.

• Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, identity management, and application security.

• Knowledge of technologies and standards such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, API gateways, and identity providers.

• Experience designing highly available, scalable, resilient, and secure systems.

• Understanding of observability, monitoring, logging, performance, and disaster recovery strategies.

• Ability to evaluate technical trade-offs and make architecture decisions based on business and technical priorities.

• Experience producing architecture documentation using diagrams, solution blueprints, and technical specifications.

• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

• Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience working with distributed or global teams.
