Why this job is exciting
The role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated developer to join our company. As the Software engineer, you will focus on the cross-layer software development and microservices integration necessary to assemble a highly secure AI inference platform. You will be responsible for wiring multi-module backend layers, establishing stable inference endpoints, and implementing attestation-gated security mechanisms that safeguard critical model weights and execution boundaries within hardware-enforced Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs).
Responsibilities:
- Multi-Module & Application Integration: Program and stabilize core microservices, bridging backend data pipelines with advanced containerized inference runtimes to ensure seamless data flow.
- Secure Endpoint Development: Design, expose, and optimize stable APIs for protected model ingestion, system lifecycle events, and inference requests.
- Cryptographic Boundary Assembly: Integrate security sidecars and automated provisioning modules executing asymmetric decryption protocols (e.g., 4096-bit RSA) and cryptographic signature validation to facilitate attestation-gated asset release.
- Network & Gateway Routing: Configure low-latency sidecar proxies and API gateways to maintain end-to-end encrypted pathways utilizing strict mutual authentication (mTLS).
- Workload Orchestration: Maintain and update cloud-native application configurations (such as Helm charts) to orchestrate isolated container runtimes across distributed execution clusters.
Requirements:
- Core Systems Programming: Professional fluency in Python, Rust, or C/C++ applied to performant backend services, API frameworks, or system microservices.
- Cloud-Native AI Frameworks: Practical experience working with high-throughput inference engines and serving frameworks (such as vLLM or KServe) within containerized environments.
- Applied Cryptography Essentials: Knowledge of digital certificate management, public key infrastructure (PKI), asymmetric encryption tools (GPG), and transport security protocols (TLS 1.3/mTLS).
- Hardware Security Foundations: Conceptual or practical familiarity with Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs), confidential computing isolation, or remote attestation concepts.
- DevOps & Automation Agility: Familiarity constructing continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) automated pipelines, container orchestration scripts, and automated validation frameworks to facilitate continuous software updates.
You are motivated by:
- Hustle: You inspire others to work as hard as you. You will find a way, no matter how hard the task is.
- Ownership: You have an owner/builder mentality. You care about what you deliver and own your mistakes.
- Proactivity: You don’t wait for someone to tell you what to do or what problems to solve. You are always looking for ways to learn and improve.
- Excellence: You set a high bar and surpass expectations. You hit your goals and ask for more.
- Humility: You are not above any task in the organization and are willing to drop what you’re doing to help a teammate.
