Job Description:
Network Designs, Inc. (NDi) is seeking a Software Asset Management Analyst to support enterprise software request fulfillment, software asset management, licensing compliance, and software governance activities within a Federal IT environment.
The Software Asset Management Analyst will receive and process software requests, validate requirements, coordinate fulfillment activities, support software standards and license evaluation processes, and maintain accurate software entitlement documentation. The position works closely with Government customers, vendor managers, Contracting Officer's Representatives (CORs), Product Owners, procurement personnel, and technical support teams to ensure software requests are processed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with established governance and compliance requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline such as Business, Information Systems, Information Technology or a related field
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in software asset support and/or IT service operations.
- Experience executing structured intake, data entry, ticket workflows, and customer communications within an IT service environment.
- Knowledge of software request fulfillment, vendor quoting, and procurement intake documentation.
- Experience supporting enterprise software governance processes and standards-conformance workflows.
- Familiarity with software asset management repositories and software installation protocols, including:
- License keys
- Installation instructions
- Installation files
- Product documentation
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to reconcile software entitlement and consumption data.
- Ability to document assumptions, evidence, and analytical methodology to maintain traceability.
- Ability to develop clear, defensible recommendations and written outputs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work within controlled repositories, workflows, and governance processes.
- Ability to coordinate effectively across technical, acquisition, financial, and software asset management stakeholders.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple software requests and competing priorities within a production service environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting enterprise software asset management within a Federal or similarly complex enterprise environment.
- Experience with software asset management, discovery, or service-management platforms, including:

- Familiarity with software licensing, entitlement reconciliation, and software compliance processes.

Responsibilities
Software Request Fulfillment:
- Receive and process requests for enterprise software.
- Ensure assigned requests are acknowledged and routinely updated in accordance with established service expectations.
- Interface directly with customers to confirm that software requirements are complete, well-formed, and aligned with the intended purchase or fulfillment approach.
- Track software requests throughout the fulfillment lifecycle and coordinate required follow-up activities through closure.
- Coordinate with Vendor Managers, CORs, Product Owners, software specialists, procurement personnel, and other stakeholders as needed.
- Request vendor quotes and coordinate funding requirements with customers.
- Enter software purchase requests into the Government-designated IT Acquisition Request system.
- Assign installation tasks and coordinate fulfillment activities with supporting technical teams.
Software Standards and Licensing Support:
- Perform FAA IT Standards conformance checks for requested software products.
- Route standards-related actions, including requests requiring Enterprise Software Board consideration for inclusion in the Technology Products Registry.
- Submit software license evaluation requests to support licensing compliance prior to purchase and/or installation.
- Support software request triage and routing based on request complexity, technology, dollar value, procurement approach, and other Government-defined criteria.
- Coordinate software request activities with applicable software governance and vendor management organizations.
Software Entitlement and Asset Management:
- Collect and document software entitlement information using the Software License Information Form (SLIF) and other required supporting documentation.
- Maintain software intake and entitlement artifacts in Government-designated repositories.
- Provide SLIFs and supporting entitlement documentation to Software Licensing Specialists for authoritative repository/database entry.
- Support reconciliation of software entitlement information against software consumption or inventory data.
- Identify discrepancies, exceptions, or incomplete information requiring further analysis or resolution.
- Maintain traceable documentation and supporting evidence associated with software asset and entitlement activities.
Customer and Stakeholder Coordination:
- Communicate with Government customers regarding software request status, requirements, funding needs, and outstanding actions.
- Coordinate with Infrastructure, Enterprise Architecture, Software Administrators, Financial teams, acquisition stakeholders, and other support organizations.
- Follow up on aging requests to ensure procurement, installation, Tier 2, or other responsible organizations are actively progressing assigned actions.
- Collaborate with team members to share information, best practices, and lessons learned.
- Support knowledge management and continuous improvement of software request and asset management processes.
