Social Media Manager, Organic

Hybrid position, Waco/Dallas-Fort Worth, TX, Full-time Contract (Fully remote possible, not preferred)

The role

We're looking for a Social Media Manager to support a fast-growing, services-based brand expanding its brand awareness. You'll own day-to-day content execution across multiple platforms and brands.

This is a hands-on execution role with opportunity to hone and adapt the overall strategy based on each brand’s needs. You'll create and publish content, manage posting schedules, monitor performance, and engage with audiences, all within the strategic framework and content pillars set by the Sr. Content Manager. You move fast, stay organized, and deliver consistent, brand-aligned output across a multi-location franchise system.

What you’ll do

  • Develop content ideas within established content pillars, identifying gaps and opportunities based on trends and performance data.

  • Create and edit social-first content (short-form video, graphics, carousels, and captions) across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Google Business Profile.

  • Repurpose campaign assets and brand materials into platform-specific formats.

  • Manage day-to-day posting, scheduling, and quality assurance across assigned social accounts, adapting the content calendar in alignment with the Sr. Content Manager's direction.

  • Monitor post-level performance, engagement, reach, video views, saves, and flag trends and insights to inform content strategy.

  • Monitor comments, messages, and brand mentions, engaging with audiences in line with established community management guidelines.

  • Package and distribute national content for scalable use across franchise locations, maintaining brand consistency.

About you

  • 3-5+ years of experience in social media, content creation, or digital marketing.

  • Experience managing multiple social accounts or brands simultaneously.

  • Strong content creation skills, especially short-form video (Reels, TikTok, Shorts).

  • Solid writing skills for social captions, hooks, and platform-specific copy.

  • Experience editing skills with tools like CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or Canva.

  • Comfortable analyzing performance data and translating insights into better content.

  • Familiar with social trends, platform algorithms, and current best practices.

  • Comfortable using AI tools (ChatGPT, or similar) to support ideation and execution.

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
