AI Summary

Execute end-to-end email campaigns and automated flows for eCommerce clients using Klaviyo and Figma. Monitor deliverability hygiene, perform A/B testing, and provide accurate data reporting on campaign performance.

Part-Time Contract • Fully Remote (US preferred) • Klaviyo-First • AI-Native Required

About the role

Full Funnel Growth is a remote performance marketing agency. Our Retention Marketing Pod runs email, SMS, and pop-ups for high-growth eCommerce brands across Klaviyo, BigCommerce, and Shopify, plus regulated retail where compliance language is not optional. Clients range from niche communities with a devoted following to established CPG names with real volume. Strategy and execution live close together on every account, so the person who builds the campaign is the person who understands why it exists.

We operate AI-natively. Our daily workflow runs through Claude Code with custom skills, scripts that hit platform APIs directly, and a precision protocol that requires exact numbers and labeled claims in every deliverable. AI is not a tool we reach for occasionally. It is how the work gets done.

We are hiring a part-time contract Email Marketing Specialist to join the pod under our Retention Marketing Manager, who owns email, SMS, and pop-up strategy across the client roster. You will not be left to figure it out alone. There is a structured 30, 60, and 90 day ramp, certifications paid for and scheduled into your week, and a manager who reviews your work until you are autonomous. What we need is someone with real Klaviyo reps already behind them, the design instinct to ship clean email in Figma, and the discipline to treat deliverability as a craft rather than an afterthought.

What you will own

  • Campaign execution across a defined slice of the pod's clients: brief, build, QA, schedule, and post-send review in Klaviyo. You start with manager QA on everything and earn your way to autonomous send.

  • Flow work: building and maintaining welcome, abandoned cart, browse abandonment, post-purchase, and winback flows, then reading the data and proposing what to change.

  • Email design and experimentation in Figma. You take a brief to a clean, on-brand, mobile-first design, then run structured A/B tests on subject lines, layout, offer, and send time, and write up what actually moved the number.

  • Segmentation in practice: building and refining segments per client, understanding the difference between an engaged segment and a flat list, and protecting sender reputation by suppressing the right people.

  • Deliverability hygiene: monitoring inbox placement, spam rates, and unsubscribes, keeping lists clean, understanding authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) well enough to flag a problem, and knowing when a deliverability dip is a content issue versus a list issue.

  • Accurate reporting: per-campaign write-ups with exact figures, flagged data gaps, and a clear read on what happened, contributing to the monthly client summaries the pod sends.

  • Time tracking discipline: every hour logged in ClickUp against the correct task, start to stop. This is non-negotiable here and we will say so on day one.

How we work, and what we expect on AI

  • You have used Claude Code, Cursor, ChatGPT, or a comparable tool as part of how you actually work, not just to answer the occasional question. We want to see that AI is already woven into how you draft, build, and check your work.

  • You are eager to go deeper. Our pod automates the repetitive parts of email ops, and you will be expected to learn our skills and scripts and contribute to them over time. You do not need to code today. You do need to be the kind of person who, shown a faster way, adopts it that week.

  • You write with discipline. Our analytical work uses exact numbers, flags missing data rather than estimating it, and labels a claim as extracted, inferred, or assumed. If "close enough" or "directionally accurate" is your default, we are not a fit.

  • You stay current on what Klaviyo and the inbox providers are shipping, including AI-generated content, predictive analytics, and the way Gmail and Apple keep changing the rules on engagement and privacy. You will not be the strategist on day one, but you should have opinions and bring them.

What we are not

  • Not a generalist marketing role. We are not looking for someone who has touched a bit of social, a bit of SEO, and is now curious about email. We need real Klaviyo reps.

  • Not a copy-paste template shop. You will design and test, not just clone last month's campaign and swap the image.

  • Not a "drafted a newsletter in ChatGPT once" definition of AI-forward. That is table stakes. We want someone who already operates with these tools in hand.

  • Not a place where deliverability is someone else's problem. If you have never thought about why an email lands in spam, this is not the right seat.

Required experience

  • 1 to 3 years of hands-on email marketing, with direct Klaviyo experience building campaigns and flows. A strong portfolio from agency or in-house eCommerce work counts.

  • Demonstrated work with high-growth eCommerce brands. You understand the rhythm of a DTC calendar, launches, and promotional pressure.

  • Design competence in Figma. You can take a brief to a finished, on-brand, mobile-first email without needing a separate designer for every send.

  • Working knowledge of email deliverability: list hygiene, sender reputation, inbox placement, and a baseline grasp of authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).

  • Comfort with A/B testing and reading email metrics, including open and click trends in a post Apple Mail Privacy world, placed orders, and revenue per recipient.

  • Remote work track record with strong written communication. Most of our client and team work happens in writing.

Nice to have

  • SMS experience in Klaviyo, including consent and compliance basics. The pod runs SMS and you would grow into it under manager oversight.

  • Exposure to BigCommerce as well as Shopify.

  • Experience in regulated or compliance-heavy categories (cannabis, alcohol, supplements) where every claim is reviewed.

  • Familiarity with a non-Klaviyo platform such as Alpine IQ, or a willingness to learn one where a client requires it.

  • Klaviyo Academy certifications already in hand. We will fund and schedule the ones you are missing in your first 30 days, so this is a signal, not a gate.

Compensation and logistics

Engagement type: 1099 contractor, part-time

Hours: Part-time, with all time tracked in ClickUp

Location: Fully remote, US preferred for timezone overlap with the pod and clients

Reports to: Retention Marketing Manager (email, SMS, and pop-ups across all clients)

Rate: Hourly, commensurate with experience

Ramp: Structured 30, 60, and 90 day onboarding with paid Klaviyo certifications, manager QA on early work, and a clear path to autonomous campaign ownership by day 90

Start: ASAP

How to apply

  • A short intro, one paragraph, not a cover letter. Why this role and why retention specifically.

  • Resume or LinkedIn.

  • Two email marketing examples with the actual decision behind them, not just the metrics. A flow you rebuilt, a test you ran, a deliverability problem you caught. We want to see how you think.

  • One or two design samples, ideally a Klaviyo email you built end to end, with a note on the Figma to Klaviyo path you took.

  • One AI-native habit you already have. A tool, a workflow, a screenshot, a description of something you automated or sped up. Anything that proves it is part of how you work.

  • One question you would ask us if hired.

We will deprioritize generic applications with no working sample. We are not looking for someone who has dabbled. We want someone who already builds clean email, respects the inbox, and treats AI as part of how they operate.
