ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a highly motivated, relationship-driven Social Media Engagement Specialist to serve as the voice and presence of our brand across social media and industry communities. This role is responsible for building meaningful relationships with current customers, prospects, industry partners, and associations through consistent engagement across company and personal social media platforms.



The ideal candidate is highly active on social media, understands the industries we serve, and thrives on creating conversations, increasing brand visibility, and strengthening customer relationships through daily interaction.



KEY RESPONSABILITIES:

Social Media Engagement

  • Monitor and actively engage across all Birdseye social media channels.
  • Represent Birdseye as a positive, professional, and knowledgeable voice.
  • Like, comment, share, repost, and respond to customer and prospect content daily.
  • Engage with industry influencers, customers, partners, and prospects to increase visibility and brand awareness.
  • Maintain an active presence across thousands of both company and individual professional social media accounts.

Customer & Prospect Relationship Building

  • Develop familiarity with Birdseye's existing customer base of 5,000–10,000 users.
  • Identify key decision-makers and influencers within customer organizations.
  • Build relationships through consistent online engagement before, during, and after sales opportunities.
  • Monitor customer activity to identify opportunities for outreach and recognition.

Industry Presence

  • Follow and engage with industry associations, organizations, and trade groups.
  • Participate in conversations surrounding trade shows, conferences, webinars, and industry events.
  • Ensure Birdseye maintains a visible and active presence wherever our customers and prospects are engaging online.
  • Build and moderate driver focused social media communities (LinkedIn Groups, Facebook Groups) to organically grow Birdseye's presence and brand among truck drivers, yard workers, and fleet operators

Content Amplification

  • Consistently share company announcements, customer successes, product updates, and industry news.
  • Amplify marketing campaigns through strategic engagement rather than simply posting content.
  • Encourage conversations that increase reach and strengthen Birdseye's reputation.

Activity Expectations

  • Perform high-volume (75-100) daily social engagement, including likes, comments, shares, follows, and meaningful interactions.
  • Maintain engagement goals that support outreach across Birdseye's customer and prospect network.
  • Track engagement metrics and identify opportunities to improve visibility and customer interaction.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years of experience in social media management, community management, customer engagement, or digital marketing.
  • Familiarity with the trucking, freight or logistics sectors is strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional written communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and other relevant social platforms.
  • Comfortable engaging professionally with executives, customers, and industry leaders.
  • Highly organized and able to manage large volumes of daily interactions.
  • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience using CRM and social media management tools is a plus.

  • Meaningful engagement with Birdseye's network of 5,000–10,000 customers and prospects.
  • Contribution to lead generation and customer retention through social relationship building.



REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:

This position reports directly to the Director of Marketing and works closely with the Sales, Customer Success, and Executive teams to strengthen Birdseye's brand presence, customer relationships, and industry engagement.

This is a highly visible role that serves as one of the primary digital ambassadors for Birdseye. Success requires consistency, enthusiasm, professionalism, and a genuine passion for building relationships through social media.
