Social Media & Content Creator – Recruitment
About the Role
We are looking for a creative and proactive Social Media & Content Creator to help grow our online presence across the United States and Canada.
Your main focus will be LinkedIn, where you will create engaging content around recruitment, hiring trends, HR, careers, workplace culture, and the job market.
You will be responsible for turning ideas, industry insights, recruitment data, and company expertise into engaging content that strengthens our brand and attracts both clients and candidates.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation
- Create and publish engaging content primarily for LinkedIn, with potential expansion to other social media platforms.
- Develop LinkedIn posts, carousels, short-form videos, polls, and other engaging formats.
- Transform recruitment trends, statistics, industry news, and company insights into compelling content.
- Create content around recruitment, HR, talent acquisition, salary trends, employer branding, workplace culture, and career topics.
- Adapt content for both US and Canadian audiences.
Social Media Management
- Manage the company's LinkedIn content calendar.
- Schedule and publish content consistently.
- Monitor engagement, comments, and relevant conversations.
- Identify trending topics and opportunities to create timely content.
- Research competitors and successful recruitment/HR content creators for inspiration.
AI & Content Optimization
- Use AI tools effectively to support content creation, research, translation, editing, and optimization.
- Use AI to produce high-quality translations while maintaining the natural tone, cultural nuances, and meaning of the original content.
- Leverage AI tools to generate ideas, improve hooks, repurpose content, and test different content formats.
- Stay up to date with new AI tools and techniques that can improve content creation and productivity.
Brand Growth
- Help strengthen the company's reputation as a thought leader in recruitment and talent acquisition.
- Develop content that increases brand awareness in both the US and Canadian markets.
- Support the personal branding of company executives and recruiters on LinkedIn.
- Turn recruitment expertise and internal knowledge into valuable public content.
Analytics & Optimization
- Track content performance, including impressions, engagement, followers, and leads.
- Identify which topics and formats perform best.
- Continuously test new topics, formats, hooks, and posting strategies.
- Provide recommendations to improve social media performance.
What We're Looking For
- 1–3+ years of experience in social media, content creation, digital marketing, communications, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of LinkedIn and LinkedIn content strategy.
- Excellent written English.
- Strong understanding of what makes content engaging and shareable.
- Creative mindset with strong storytelling skills.
- Strong research and writing skills.
- Ability to understand business and recruitment topics and communicate them in a simple, engaging way.
- Strong knowledge of AI tools for content creation, translation, research, and editing.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Languages
- Being bilingual in English and French is a strong plus but not mandatory
- Strong ability to use AI tools to create accurate and natural translations between English, Spanish and French
Nice to Have
- Experience working for a recruitment agency, staffing company, HR company, SaaS company, or B2B organization.
- Experience creating LinkedIn carousels, short-form videos, or visual content.
- Experience with Canva, Adobe, CapCut, or similar content creation tools.
- Experience with LinkedIn Analytics or other social media analytics platforms.
- Knowledge of the US and/or Canadian job market.
- Experience with personal branding or executive branding on LinkedIn.
