Job Purpose

As an SFCC Web Developer, you will join a high-performance, feature-driven team focused on building enterprise-level digital commerce solutions. You will be responsible for developing sophisticated client and server-side logic that powers seamless shopping experiences for global brands. Your expertise in the Salesforce Commerce Cloud ecosystem will allow you to solve complex technical challenges, optimize system performance, and contribute to the continuous evolution of our development standards and architectural best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop robust enterprise-level e-commerce solutions utilizing both client and server-side JavaScript within the SFCC framework.
• Actively participate in daily scrum meetings and technical brainstorming sessions to resolve complex project issues.
• Provide accurate effort estimates and regular status updates for assigned development tasks to ensure timely delivery.
• Collaborate closely with frontend developers and QA teams to ensure feature integrity and seamless cross-functional integration.
• Author detailed technical documentation to support system maintainability and knowledge sharing across the engineering team.
• Conduct code reviews and refactoring sessions to maintain high standards of code quality and system performance.
• Provide strategic recommendations to the Team Lead for improving development procedures, internal systems, and toolchains.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum 3 years of professional web development experience with at least 2 years specifically focused on SFCC.
• Deep knowledge of native JavaScript, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and modularity principles.
• Extensive experience with the SFCC ecosystem and a strong understanding of complex application logic and dependencies.
• Proven ability to design software architecture using industry-standard design patterns and best practices.
• Hands-on experience integrating Salesforce Commerce Cloud with external systems via REST or SOAP web services.
• Technical proficiency in data formats including JSON, CSV, and XML, and experience with version control systems like Git.
• Intermediate English proficiency with the ability to document technical solutions and collaborate in a global environment.
• Solid experience in refactoring legacy code and performing comprehensive code reviews for peer developers.
