This is a remote position.
We’re looking for a Senior Web Developer who’s not just a strong full-stack engineer, but an AI-native one — someone who has integrated AI into how they think, code, and ship. If you’re fluent with tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot, comfortable building features powered by LLMs, and excited about modern stacks like React, TanStack (Query & Router), NestJS, Next.js, and AWS, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
• Design, build, and maintain scalable front-end and back-end applications.
• Lead architecture discussions and drive implementation of key technical decisions.
• Work across the stack with React + TanStack on the frontend and NestJS on the backend.
• Implement server-side rendering and API routes using Next.js.
• Manage infrastructure and deployment pipelines with AWS (Lambda, ECS, S3, etc).
• Build AI-powered features — integrate LLMs, design agentic workflows, work with RAG pipelines, and ship production-grade AI experiences.
• Use AI tools daily to accelerate delivery — scaffolding with Claude Code or Cursor, debugging with AI pair-programmers, generating tests, and automating repetitive work.
• Collaborate with product, design, and other engineers to define and deliver features. • Ensure quality through code reviews, automated tests, and thoughtful AI-assisted workflows.
Requirements
5+ years of professional web development experience.
• Demonstrated daily use of AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, Windsurf, or similar) — you can clearly articulate your workflow, what you trust AI to do, and where you override it.
• Hands-on experience building features with LLMs — prompt/context engineering, tool use / function calling, RAG, evals, or agentic systems shipped to production.
• Deep expertise in React, including performance tuning and scalable component architecture.
• Strong hands-on experience with TanStack tools (especially React Query and TanStack Router).
• Solid knowledge of NestJS for modular, testable backend services.
• Experience with Next.js for SSR/SSG and full-stack solutions.
• Proficiency with AWS (Lambda, S3, CloudFront, ECS/Fargate).
• Strong grasp of modern CI/CD and containerized environments.
• A discerning eye — you know when AI-generated code is correct, when it’s subtly wrong, and you don’t ship slop.
Bonus Points
Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers, agent frameworks (LangGraph, CrewAI, etc.), or building eval harnesses.
• Background in healthcare, HIPAA, or telehealth platforms.
• Experience with microservices or event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, AWS CDK).
• Contributions to open-source projects, AI-focused side projects, or a public dev blog.
• Experience mentoring junior developers — especially helping them adopt AI workflows responsibly.
