About the Role:

The Global Tax team is expanding to support Hims & Hers' continued growth across EMEA. We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented tax professional to serve as the tax lead for our EMEA region. The Tax Manager, EMEA will take ownership of all tax provision, compliance, and tax audit matters for the region, working closely with external advisors and local finance/accounting teams and partnering with the U.S.-based corporate tax team on cross-border tax matters. This role will report to the Senior Manager, International Tax.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage quarterly and annual tax provisions for the EMEA entities under U.S. GAAP and local statutory standards.

  • Ensure the timely and accurate preparation and submission of corporate income tax and indirect tax filings across multiple EMEA jurisdictions, working closely with accounting/finance teams and external tax advisors.

  • Assist with operational tax matters such as withholding taxes and tax registrations.

  • Support and manage tax audits, enquiries and correspondence with local tax authorities.

  • Partner closely with the U.S. tax team, as well as corporate legal and accounting teams, on complex initiatives including entity restructuring, transfer pricing documentation, and permanent establishment (PE) risks analysis.

  • Monitor legislative and regulatory developments across the region and assess business impact.

  • Partner with the global tax team to develop and implement tax-efficient structures for new business and existing operations in EMEA.

  • Effectively communicate status/issues to the Senior Manager, International Tax in the U.S. for all EMEA entities.

  • Perform general EMEA tax research to resolve issues and work with external advisers where needed to support business initiatives.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date tax compliance calendars and documentation, ensuring robust control and risk management.

  • Develop tax staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships.

Experience & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or tax required.

  • At least 5 years’ experience in corporate tax gained within a multinational organisation or Big 4/public accounting environment.

  • Professional qualification in Tax, Accounting, or Finance (e.g. ACA, ACCA) preferred.

  • Strong technical knowledge of EMEA direct and indirect tax rules, reporting obligations and tax accounting standards.

  • Experience with US GAAP tax provision preparation and review (ASC 740) preferred.

  • Familiarity with transfer pricing principles and international tax frameworks (e.g., BEPS, Pillar Two).

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to partner effectively with the U.S.-based tax team across time zones.

  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growing environment.
