Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist (part-time)

Description

As our Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, you’ll play a key role in finding and hiring talented people for some of our most important engineering and technical positions. You’ll focus primarily on candidates with Secret and Top Secret clearances, many of whom are experienced professionals who aren’t actively looking for their next opportunity.

We’re looking for an experienced recruiter who knows how to find the right people, build relationships, and think beyond the job description. You’ll work closely with hiring managers and leadership to understand what we need, figure out where to find it, and develop creative strategies to get the right people interested.

This is a part-time (no more than 20 hours/week, on average), fully remote position with plenty of interaction and collaboration with our Talent Acquisition team, hiring managers, candidates, and executive leadership.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for engineering, technical, and other specialized positions.
• Develop creative sourcing strategies to find both active and passive candidates, particularly for difficult-to-fill cleared positions.
• Build and maintain relationships with candidates and develop talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
• Partner with hiring managers and leadership to understand hiring needs, priorities, and the type of person who will be successful in each role.
• Conduct candidate screening and interviews, assess qualifications, and provide thoughtful recommendations to hiring managers.
• Coordinate interviews, feedback, dispositions, offers, and other activities throughout the hiring process.
• Use LinkedIn, clearance-focused job boards, professional networks, employee referrals, and other resources to identify talent.
• Keep recruiting activity and candidate information current in our ATS and use recruiting data to monitor and improve results.
• Stay informed on recruiting trends and the cleared engineering and technical talent market.
• Participate in recruiting events, networking opportunities, and other Talent Acquisition initiatives. 
• Occasional travel for recruiting events, company meetings, or other business needs may be required.

Requirements

What We're Looking For:

• 10+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including significant experience recruiting engineering and technical professionals.
• Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent combination of education and recruiting experience.
• Experience recruiting cleared candidates in the defense, government contracting, aerospace, engineering, or related industries.
• A proven ability to find and engage passive candidates for hard-to-fill positions.
• Strong understanding of technical and engineering roles and the ability to recognize what makes a candidate truly qualified.
• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs, ADP experience is a plus, as well as online job boards, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other online recruiting tools.
• Ability to work independently and stay connected and engaged as part of a fully remote team.
