Senior Talent Acquisition Officer-( Limited 2 Months Contract)

Job Purpose 

As the Senior Talent Acquisition Officer at Tarjama, you will lead the strategy and execution of our recruitment efforts to identify and attract top talent for critical roles. You will drive the development and implementation of innovative sourcing strategies and partner with senior leadership to address complex staffing needs. Your role will be pivotal in aligning talent acquisition practices with Tarjama’s strategic goals and business objectives, ensuring that we build a high-caliber workforce that supports the company’s growth and success. 

Duties & Responsibilities 

Recruitment Process Management 

• Conduct the full cycle of recruitment and selection for all Tarjama’s open vacancies (resume screening, screening calls, interviews, etc.). 

• Hands-on end-to-end recruitment, including direct sourcing and candidate management. 

• Manage and keep resumes and employment applications on the current HRMS in a way that facilitates easy reference and provides a comprehensive database of employment. 

• Create monthly reports on key talent acquisition metrics. 

Interviewing 

• Conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based interviews, phone interviews, etc.). 

Workforce Planning 

• Conduct the workforce planning exercise to determine the requirements of the right number of people with the right skills in coordination with hiring managers. 

Job Advertising and Sourcing 

• Advertise job vacancies through current HRMS internally and externally (for online platforms and recruitment agencies). 

• Enhance Tarjama’s recruitment strategies, reviewing attraction and sourcing practices, and job advertisements to promote Tarjama’s brand as an employer of choice. 

Strategic Partnership and Candidate Experience 

• Partner with hiring managers to identify needs and develop recruiting strategies. 

• Ensure an impressive candidate experience at every touch point. 

• Maintain strong relationships with academic and professional institutions, and employment agencies to facilitate the supply of human resources and close open vacancies. 

Branding and Representation 

• Act as brand ambassador at various events representing Tarjama, such as job fairs or on-campus recruiting events. 

Compliance 

• Follow Tarjama’s Talent Acquisition policies and procedures to ensure all recruitment activities are conducted in accordance with established guidelines and standards. 

Education, Experience & Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 

• 3-5 years of experience in recruiting full cycle preferably within the technology industry. 

• Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, etc).   

• Proven Talent Acquisition working experience in a fast-paced work environment preferably in the technology industry.  

• Knowledge in using ATS platforms such as (Caval, and ZenHR).  

• Ability to create interview forms/templates.  

• Excellent level of proficiency with MS Office Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.  

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  

• Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment and collaborate across multiple areas to achieve a common business objective.   

• Superb teamwork and interpersonal abilities.  

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.  

• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.  

• Excellent command of both spoken and written English.  

• Arabic Language is required
