Senior Strategist, TikTok

OVERVIEW:

In your role as Strategist, TikTok, you will design, execute, and optimize affiliate promotion strategies for TikTok Shop at the account level, ensuring they are strategic, profitable, and fully integrated with client’s broader advertising objectives. You will partner closely with leaders in Product, Customer Success and Center of Excellence to ensure we are consistently delivering growth and ROI to our clients on TikTok.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data and translate it into clear, actionable recommendations 

• Strong attention to detail and execution accuracy 

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and accounts simultaneously 

• Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally 

• Strong English proficiency (fluent speaking and writing) 

• Intellectual curiosity, with a strong desire to learn and experiment in a rapidly changing industry 

• Experience with TikTok Shop or TikTok Ads is a plus but not required  

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Develop affiliate promotion strategies aligned with client’s growth and profitability objectives 

• Source relevant and high-quality TikTok affiliates that match client’s profile and objectives. Lead outreach efforts to affiliates through the TikTok Affiliates portal. Coordinate collaborations on the platform and set commission rates to maximize affiliate partnerships.  

• Drive execution of affiliate promotions, coordinating with advertising campaigns when applicable. Monitor and adjust campaigns based on performance, ensuring they remain aligned with performance goals. 

• Reporting & insights: Provide regular performance updates and client KPIs for their affiliate promotions, ensuring insights are clear, actionable, and client-ready. 

• CSM collaboration: Partner closely with CSMs to align affiliate strategies with client priorities. Support CSMs with strategy explanations, client-facing materials, and performance insights. Join client calls when needed for strategy and results. 

• Product collaboration: Provide consistent feedback to Product as well as help define and prioritize our roadmap for TikTok Shop.
