The Lease Accounting team is a highly collaborative group that partners closely with internal stakeholders across real estate, equipment, finance, and operations. This role offers the opportunity to deepen technical lease accounting expertise while gaining exposure to real estate leases, equipment leases, projects, and fixed assets in a supportive, hands-on team environment. We are looking for someone who enjoys improving processes, taking initiative, and contributing to a team that values accuracy, communication, and service-minded partnership.
How you’ll contribute
A Senior Staff Accountant who excels in this role:
Support month-end close activities for lease accounting, including reconciliations, journal entries, capitalization schedules, and related analysis.
What we’re looking for
Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. Additional qualifications include:
Minimum of 4+ years of general accounting experience required.
At least 1 year of lease accounting experience strongly preferred.
Month-end close experience required, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
Working knowledge of ASC 842 lease accounting standards preferred.
Experience with operating leases required or strongly preferred; exposure to finance leases or embedded leases is a plus.
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required, including formulas, lookups, pivot tables, and working with large data sets.
Experience with Oracle and/or ProLease preferred but not required.
Public accounting experience or experience in a public-company environment preferred.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Ability to take initiative, identify process improvement opportunities, and work proactively rather than reactively.
Strong communication skills and ability to partner with cross-functional teams including Real Estate, Equipment, and Finance.
Ability to work independently while remaining collaborative within a remote team environment.

Salary Range: $66,476 - $89,742 per year.
