Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare the Solution Engineer team to be successful through proactive training, sharing knowledge, and communicating best practices.
- Advise team members and sales prior to customer calls and/or sales strategy sessions; acts as subject matter expert in multiple families of solutions.
- Designs technical solutions not only considering the customer’s infrastructure but also the business limitations and opportunities; operates comfortably beyond standard approaches to satisfy the needs of all the stakeholders.
- Responsible for driving a variety of initiatives and projects and strategically works with sales, partners and customers to uncover and increase emerging business opportunities.
- Deliver presentations and conducts sales conversations with confidence and credibility to C-level clients, both in small meeting and large group formats; assists with cost evaluation and providing pricing solutions.
- Role will involve approximately 20% travel
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Minimum of 8 years of experience of presales within the ERP industry or equivalent operational ERP experience
- Background of success in supporting both direct and channel sales
- Experience in the manufacturing, distribution, or finance industry
- Documented experience of giving customer presentations / demonstrations
- Successful candidates may have worked for companies such as: SAP, Microsoft, Infor, Sage,
- NetSuite or other ERP companies or Value-Added Resellers (VARs).
Qualifications
- 8+ years applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge.
- 4+ years of specialized/industry.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
