You will lead the migration of critical workloads from legacy Beanstalk environments to EKS while ensuring high availability and system resilience. Additionally, you will design and maintain shared compute infrastructure components and act as a technical focal point for various internal engineering teams.
We are looking for a Infrastructure/Software Engineer (Mid-Level/Senior) for the Compute team at VTEX. This team owns the platform's shared compute infrastructure: EKS clusters (including Dark Kitchen), the migration of the legacy Beanstalk environment, the internal networking layer (Private Link, VPC), traffic balancing (Janus, NLB/ALB), GitOps (ArgoCD), and the Core API.
You will work on one of the company's most critical engineering challenges today: unlocking the definitive migration from legacy Beanstalk to EKS, while maintaining reliability and zero downtime for dozens of teams dependent on this infrastructure.
The Compute team is part of VTEX's Core Platform, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of the compute infrastructure supporting the platform for thousands of stores. As part of a recent reorganization, the team is focused on consolidating the next generation of compute infrastructure, reducing technical debt from legacy platforms, and raising the self-service standard for teams that rely on it.
