You will own the end-to-end design and implementation of complex mortgage workflows, transitioning from Figma wireframes to production-ready React interfaces. Additionally, you will build and maintain a scalable design system while ensuring accessibility and consistency across the product.
Join a fintech team as a senior engineer focused on the craft of product design and frontend engineering. You will shape intuitive experiences for complex mortgage workflows, taking work from Figma concepts through production-ready implementation.
Own end-to-end design and implementation, from wireframes in Figma to React and TypeScript interfaces.
Build and maintain a scalable design system and component library using shadcn/ui.
Create accessible, production-quality React components with careful ARIA, keyboard, and focus management.
Partner with product and engineering teams to make complex workflows intuitive and consistent.
Define and uphold visual and interaction design standards across the product.
At least 5 years in a design engineering, frontend, or full-stack software engineering role, with senior-level experience.
A strong production engineering background with React and TypeScript, plus experience with Tailwind CSS and component libraries such as shadcn/ui.
Deep Figma proficiency, including libraries, variants, and auto-layout.
Experience building and maintaining design systems for data-dense B2B SaaS interfaces or polished consumer products.
A strong eye for visual and interaction design, accessibility, and detail; a portfolio or personal site demonstrating this craft is valued.
Strong computer science fundamentals and experience contributing beyond visual design, including shipping production code.
Base salary range: $150,000 to $350,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
