Role Overview:

We’re looking for a Senior SEO Specialist to join our SEO team and contribute to the implementation and optimisation of SEO efforts across client campaigns. As a Senior SEO Specialist, you will be an integral part of the SEO team at Rocket SaaS, working closely with the Head of SEO to implement and optimise SEO strategies for both Rocket SaaS and our clients. Your role will focus on executing on-page, off-page, and technical SEO tactics to improve organic visibility, drive traffic, and ultimately support conversions.

Key Responsibilities:

• SEO Strategy: Work alongside the Head of SEO to implement and execute SEO strategies for Rocket SaaS and clients. Contribute to SEO campaigns, focusing on optimisation and performance.

• Keyword Research & Content Optimisation: Conduct in-depth keyword research to guide content strategies and optimise existing content for organic search performance.

• Technical SEO: Perform regular SEO audits, identify technical issues, and collaborate with development teams to ensure technical improvements (e.g., page speed, schema markup, site structure) are implemented effectively.

• On-page SEO: Optimise on-page elements such as title tags, meta descriptions, header tags, and internal linking to enhance content visibility.

• Link Building & Off-page SEO: Assist with the execution of a link-building strategy aimed at improving domain authority and search rankings.

• Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Use SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics) to track, analyse, and report on SEO performance. Provide insights and recommendations for improvements.

• Collaboration & Best Practices: Work with the wider marketing team to ensure SEO best practices are implemented across content, design, and development. Share knowledge of SEO trends and updates with the team to maintain best-in-class practices.

Skills & Experience:

• More than 3 years of demonstrated success in senior SEO roles, preferably in a B2B SaaS or agency environment.

• Strong knowledge of SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Screaming Frog.

• Hands-on experience with on-page, off-page, and technical SEO, including keyword research, content optimisation, and link building.

• In-depth understanding of Google’s algorithms and ranking factors.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and implement SEO recommendations effectively.

• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
