Senior Project Manager (Release Management - Team Lead)

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of medium to large-scale customer projects within a complex, multi-technology environment. The role focuses on end-to-end delivery ownership, ensuring high-quality execution, strong governance, and excellent customer satisfaction.

This position also includes team leadership responsibilities, including mentoring junior project managers and contributing to the continuous improvement of project delivery standards.

The ideal candidate brings strong experience in managing multiple concurrent projects, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to operate in fast-paced, international environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional project teams and ensure accountability for delivering projects on time, within scope, and to a high-quality standard

• Own end-to-end project planning, execution, and delivery across all project phases

• Define and align project objectives, delivery strategy, and scope with client expectations and business goals

• Monitor project performance, including timelines, KPIs, and financial tracking to ensure delivery efficiency and profitability

• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies proactively

• Oversee change management processes, ensuring proper control of scope and contract adjustments

• Manage external vendors and third-party partners when applicable, ensuring alignment with delivery expectations

• Provide regular, structured reporting and updates to senior stakeholders and clients

• Support business growth opportunities, including input into renewals and pre-sales activities

• Mentor and support junior project managers, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing

• Ensure effective governance structures, communication flows, and delivery frameworks are in place throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements

• University degree or equivalent professional experience

• Minimum 6+ years of experience in project management within IT, telecom, or a similarly complex technical environment

• Proven experience managing multiple concurrent medium to large-scale projects

• Strong knowledge of project planning, execution, and governance frameworks

• Experience in financial tracking, budgeting, and delivery performance management

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional and international teams

• Experience mentoring or guiding junior team members is highly desirable

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities

• Familiarity with structured project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid models) is an advantage

• Languages required:
