Senior Product Manager (Data Cooperative & Activate)
Company Overview
InfutorData, an ActiveProspect company, delivers privacy-compliant consumer identity and data solutions that help marketers find, understand, and reach the right people. Our identity graph covers roughly 250 million US consumers and 120 million households. We are now building a transparent, consent-based data cooperative for consumer lead-generation publishers, and we are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead it from concept to launch.
Job Summary
As Senior Product Manager, Data Cooperative & Activate, you will own a new publisher data cooperative and the Activate product line it powers. Publishers contribute on-site and form data under clear, documented terms. In return, they receive member services such as industry analytics and benchmarking, data appends, fraud and bot detection, and identity resolution.
This is a 0-to-1 build with a direct line to revenue on an established product line. You will design the member value exchange, sign and onboard publisher members, align other product teams around a shared member offering, and work with Engineering and Data to deliver the collection script, data feeds, and member services. You will work closely with Legal, Privacy, Sales, Finance, and an outside consulting firm, with regular exposure to executive leadership.
The role is an equal blend of partnership and product management. You should be as comfortable negotiating a data-sharing agreement with a publisher as you are writing acceptance criteria with an engineer.
Responsibilities:
Co-op Strategy & Member Value Exchange
- Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the publisher data cooperative.
- Define what members contribute and what they receive, including tiering (for example, Core and Premium) based on publisher discovery.
- Build and test member value propositions; decide which benefits lead and how to prove their value.
- Scope and launch member industry analytics (benchmarking and trend reporting) with the Data team, protecting each member's data in aggregate reporting.
- Model co-op economics and data-licensing value to inform packaging, pricing inputs, and investment decisions.
Publisher Partnerships
- Own the publisher pipeline from discovery through signed member agreement and onboarding.
- Lead conversations with publisher members and prospects on value exchange, integration, and data-use terms.
- Facilitate a Publisher Advisory Board to validate the model and gather ongoing feedback.
- Work with Legal and outside advisors to standardize member agreements and data-use terms.
- Select and launch pilot publishers, then scale membership month over month.
Cross-Product Collaboration
- Inventory existing products that can be offered to members (for example, API data appends, identity resolution, fraud and bot scoring).
- Partner with other product managers on what is included, at what tier, and on what timeline.
- Define packaging, entitlements, and member-facing positioning for bundled services.
- Identify new data products and member services that can be built on co-op data.
Activate Product Line
- Own the Activate roadmap, pricing inputs, and inventory health.
- Plan the transition of current Activate data sources into the co-op model so inventory holds during cutover.
- Partner with Sales and Finance on revenue attribution and commercial performance.
Execution & Delivery
- Write clear requirements and acceptance criteria with Engineering and Data for the collection script, scheduled data feeds, and member services.
- Define POC scope and success criteria with Data and Engineering.
- Work through dependencies across data infrastructure, identity, and integration teams.
- Build privacy into the program by design, including publisher notice and opt-out requirements, recertification, and consumer opt-out and deletion handling.
- Use AI tools to accelerate research, requirements, analysis, and prototyping.
Governance & Measurement
- Set up program governance: KPIs, operating cadence, and decision forums.
- Report program health to leadership, including members signed, data volume, match rates, data quality, churn, and revenue.
- Build a repeatable operating model for membership growth and member retention.
What Success Looks Like
- First 90 days: Move committed advisory publishers toward signed member agreements. Define the value exchange and tiering. Agree on partner products for the member offering. Finalize POC scope and name pilot publishers. Build the Activate transition plan.
- 12 months: Co-op launched publicly. Pilot publishers live on the script and data feed. Activate inventory at or above baseline. Member agreements standardized. Industry analytics and at least two partner products live in the member offering.
- 18 months: Membership growing month over month. At least one new data product or member service built on co-op data. Clear revenue attribution to the co-op.
Qualifications and Skills
- 6+ years in product management, partnerships, or data products.
- 2+ years working at or with a data cooperative or data-sharing network (for example, offline/catalog co-ops, identity networks, or data collaboration platforms).
- A track record of recruiting, negotiating with, and managing data partners.
- Experience building value propositions, member benefit programs, or tiered data product offerings.
- Working knowledge of data licensing and co-op economics.
- Experience writing PRDs and acceptance criteria for data products.
- Understanding of on-site tags, data feeds, and basic data analysis.
- Sound privacy judgment and experience working with Legal on consent, opt-outs, and US state privacy laws (CCPA/CPRA and others).
- Strong negotiation, executive communication, and influence without authority.
- Comfort with ambiguity and building from scratch.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Nice to Have
- Experience in lead generation or performance marketing, especially on the publisher side.
- Identity resolution or identity graph product experience.
- Experience launching a new co-op or data network.
- Familiarity with Snowflake, JavaScript tag or SDK products, consent management platforms, GPC, or hashed-identifier matching.
- Public speaking at industry events and advisory board facilitation.
- MBA or a degree in a quantitative field.
- Spanish language skills.
