AI Summary

You will define the vision and interaction models for AI agents and human users within the semantic layer platform. Additionally, you will manage technical integrations with ecosystem partners and productize enterprise-grade telemetry and governance features.

The Mission
AtScale is the semantic layer for modern data and AI. We bridge the gap between complex cloud data platforms, like Snowflake, Databricks, and Google BigQuery, and the business users who need consistent, AI-ready analytics. Our new Ava interface democratizes access to the semantic engine, and we are looking for a Senior Product Manager, Client and Agent Experience to help us redefine how the world handles business intelligence. Reporting directly to the CPO, you will set the vision for how both autonomous agents and human users interact with an accurate, efficient, and governed semantic layer, owning how our platform interfaces with the outside world.

The Impact You’ll Make

In this role, you will:

  • Set the Vision for Ava and Conversational Surfaces: Define how Ava behaves across every surface it appears on—including standalone web chat, Slack threads, Gemini inside Copilot, and Grokbot—establishing interaction models for ambiguous questions and earning user trust.
  • Pioneer Agent Behavior & A2A Protocols: Establish industry conventions for how AI agents consume governed data, determining what context enters a prompt, when an agent can carry an attested layer, and how downstream software clients verify trustworthy answers.
  • Own Partner, Catalog, and Governance Interfaces: Define the integration depth and technical interface models for ecosystem partners such as Snowflake, Databricks Unity Catalog, Collibra, and Immuta.
  • Productize Enterprise Trust & Telemetry: Turn live deployment diagnostic telemetry (the support bundle) into a customer-facing product feature, while overseeing enterprise certifications and vulnerability response workflows.
  • Champion Discovery-Driven Product Specs: Conduct frequent discovery calls with enterprise customers, leverage internal AI tools to synthesize feedback, and author crisp MRDs, PRDs, and interaction specifications that empower engineering teams to own the technical solutions.

Why You’ll Love It Here

  • Ownership & Autonomy: You thrive as an individual contributor, owning your outcomes and driving real change. Reporting directly to the CPO, you will define a net-new roadmap from the ground up rather than inheriting one, giving engineering partners full autonomy over technical execution.
  • Innovation-First: Work at the intersection of AI and data at a company hitting its next major inflection point. We practice what we preach by aggressively deploying AI tools internally to automate the capture and synthesis of customer feedback.
  • Culture of Trust: Enjoy a flexible, remote-friendly environment built on transparency and professional growth. You will work in high-trust collaboration with executive leadership, go-to-market teams, and connected regional team hubs.

Who You Are

  • You are comfortable in fast-paced environments where priorities can shift quickly.
  • You value quality over speed and are curious about using AI to improve efficiency.
  • You have 6+ years of product management experience building SaaS applications with real interfaces and active users (background in analytics, BI, or data tooling is a strong plus).
  • You sit comfortably between engineering and design, possessing the technical depth to partner credibly with UX and engineering teams without needing to dictate UI designs or system architecture.
  • You hold a clear, informed perspective on AI as an interface and understand what makes conversational and agentic experiences reliable in enterprise environments.
  • You are entrepreneurial, an articulate technical writer, energized by conducting deep customer discovery calls, and comfortable representing the company in technical roadmap discussions with partners like Snowflake and Databricks.
  • You collaborate effectively across go-to-market functions—including product marketing, sales, and partnerships—and are prepared to contribute to cross-functional pricing and packaging working groups.
  • You are based in the United States (required) and able to work East Coast (ET) hours.

The Perks

  • Competitive salary + equity granted early enough that it matters.
  • Unlimited PTO and comprehensive benefits, including flexible time off and full health coverage.
  • Remote-friendly setup with access to in-person collaborative team hubs.
  • The chance to shape the future of a global leader in AI-ready analytics.
