The Senior Physician Recruiter-VSP recruits qualified physicians for medical staff and helps develop strategic physician recruitment plans. The Senior Physician Recruiter work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
This is a fully remote position and part of Variable Staffing Pool (VSP).VSP Humana associates work part to full-time hours based on business need. VSPs are not eligible for bonuses. VSP associates receive limited benefits, which are upon hire.
We are looking for a recruiter who is innovative and has strong attention to detail. This recruiter will work within a team and have a strong work ethic. Additionally, they must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Most importantly, they should have a proven track record recruiting physicians and APP's.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead high-level Physician sourcing strategies using modern techniques
- Understand what top Physician/APP talent is and know how to propel the talent within Care Delivery Organization
- Execute Humana's Talent Acquisition model while implementing best practices
- Develop and implement recruiting strategies and tactics that are consistent with broader organizational goals
- Consult as a strong influencer to hiring leaders
- Seek out opportunities to impact strategy; often propose solutions for recruiting barriers and strategy for new initiatives
- Work with all members of the HR team and key stakeholders within multiple business areas to align candidate sourcing with targeted positions
- Prescreen candidates by reviewing resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements
- Source candidates for select roles with a focus on identifying talent through various digital media, job boards, sourcing channels, conferences and local/national outreach efforts
- Discuss employment agreements and non-compete to attain timely signing
- Maintain accurate and well-organized documentation on all candidates and search tools working within the organizations applicant tracking system and CRM
- Manage relationships with third-party contingency search firms when needed

Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of full cycle physician recruitment experience
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and strong technical ability to learn different systems and databases
- Workday experience and/or previous experience using formalized applicant tracking systems (ATS)
- Experience sourcing passive candidates through various digital media, job boards, sourcing channels, conferences and local/national outreach efforts
- Knowledge of physician recruiting industry resources and tools
- Demonstrated experience presenting information to leadership
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree
- Recruiting experience in the healthcare industry
Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$86,300 - $118,700 per year
