About the role

This role sits at the heart of ENSEK’s high-performance culture, helping to empower leaders and shape a People experience that evolves at the speed of our transformation. You’ll build modern, automation first People Ops processes that leverage data, AI and smart workflows to increase efficiency, reduce friction and elevate the employee journey.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver a first-class People Operations service by continually improving processes, policies, systems and ways of working.

  • Lead a high performing People Ops team, coaching, developing and driving operational excellence across the employee lifecycle.

  • Own and optimise HR systems (including HRIS and Leapsome), ensuring strong data integrity, automation and manager adoption.

  • Oversee core People cycles including performance, development processes, compensation reviews and payroll execution.

  • Act as point of escalation for employee relations, supporting resolution and guiding managers through complex cases.

  • Champion digital transformation and process simplification to remove bureaucracy and improve the employee experience.

Key outcomes:

  • A seamless, consistent and scalable employee journey that supports ENSEK’s growth.

  • High adoption and trust in People systems, data, and processes through improved automation and reliability.

  • A well supported manager community with clarity, confidence and tools to lead effectively.

  • Strong operational governance with accurate reporting, compliance, and proactive risk management.

  • Noticeable efficiency gains across People Operations driven by continuous improvement.

Experience required:
  • Experience leading a high performing People Operations team in a scaling technology or SaaS environment.

  • Proven track record of building and improving People frameworks across onboarding, performance, reward, and offboarding.

  • Strong ER knowledge with ability to advise and deescalate complex cases confidently.

  • Proficiency with HR systems, data, reporting and process automation; experience with HRIS and performance tooling preferred.

  • Strong understanding of employment legislation, risk, compliance and Peoplerelated governance.

  • A “People as a Product” mindset — simplifying processes, removing friction, and designing for scalability.
