The engineer will monitor and troubleshoot .NET applications and SQL Server databases while managing production deployments and major incidents. They will also collaborate with global operational staff to diagnose and resolve technical issues within the Document Management System.
This is a remote position.
We are looking for a Document Management System (DMS) Support Engineer to deliver high-quality technical IT support services for global enterprise systems enabling Document Capture and delivery. In this role, you will collaborate closely with operational scanning staff across global locations to diagnose, detect, and resolve technical issues, ensuring all DMS systems return to steady-state operations efficiently.
Work Mode:
100% Remote (with occasional, fully reimbursed business trips to the client site in Radom/Piastów
Working Hours: Standard 8 hours/day, working within the 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM CET window (3:00 AM – 1:00 PM EST)
Be responsible for:
Monitoring and troubleshooting Kofax, DSP, E2E reporting, and Webstatus .NET applications based on SQL Server, deployed on Windows Server IIS.
Working on incidents, requests, and problem tickets.
Managing production deployments.
Managing major incidents.
Monitoring jobs and remediating any failures.
Communicating and coordinating issue status effectively with users.
Requirements
5 to 7 years of software engineering experience, with a minimum of 4 years specializing in .NET and SQL Server.
Hands-on experience with ASP.NET using C#, .NET Framework 3.5/4.0, MVC 4, WCF, Web Services, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS.
Extensive experience with Windows 10, Windows Server 2016/2022, SQL Server databases, Advanced IIS, and Active Directory.
Strong technical knowledge in IIS AppPool management, PowerShell, Web Farming (load balancing), and High Availability (clustering).
Proven ability to analyze IIS and Windows event logs to diagnose application, configuration, or server issues, as well as perform performance monitoring.
Solid understanding of TCP/IP and experience in network troubleshooting, network management, and basic knowledge of switches, routers, and firewalls.
Proficiency with IDEs & Tools: Visual Studio 2017/2019, GIT / GitLab.
Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
