What You Will Do

  • Serve as a strategic partner to the Executive Director, HRBP supporting the global Engineering organization

  • Drive execution of Engineering transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment across HR, Engineering leadership, and key functional partners

  • Lead complex, cross-functional projects including workforce strategy, organizational effectiveness, and operational improvements

  • Coordinate business rhythms such as strategic planning, operating reviews, and leadership updates

  • Create executive-ready communications, presentations, and briefs that support decision-making and organizational alignment

  • Analyze organizational, talent, and project data to identify trends, risks, and insights that inform strategy

  • Strengthen HR integration by collaborating with COEs to align initiatives supporting Engineering’s strategic priorities

  • Drive continuous improvement in team operations, stakeholder engagement, and project execution processes

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience

  • 6+ years of experience in project management, HR strategy, business operations, consulting, or transformation roles

  • Demonstrated experience supporting complex or technical organizations

  • Experience in change management and cross-functional stakeholder leadership

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Master’s degree in Business, Organizational Development, or related field

  • Certifications such as PMP, Agile/Scrum, Prosci Change Management, or equivalent

  • Experience working within large global organizations, ideally within RTX or aerospace/defense sectors

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret workforce and organizational data to generate insights

  • Familiarity with organizational transformation, engineering processes, and technology-driven organizational change

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
