AI Summary

Manage a portfolio of concurrent customer implementations, ensuring clear ownership, integrated planning, and credible forecasting. Lead strategic account delivery from approved solution through launch, stabilization, and transition to Customer Success.

About OpenLoop

OpenLoop was co-founded by CEO, Dr. Jon Lensing, and COO, Christian Williams, with the vision to bring care anywhere. Our telehealth support solutions are thoughtfully designed to streamline and simplify go-to-market care delivery for companies offering meaningful virtual support to patients across an expansive array of specialties, in all 50 states.

About the Role

OpenLoop’s mission is to bring care anywhere by powering telehealth solutions at scale. Every customer launch requires multiple OpenLoop and customer teams to deliver interdependent work. As a Technical Project Manager, you will provide the project-management control system that connects that work. You will manage a portfolio of concurrent customer implementations and personally lead project delivery for strategic accounts from approved solution through launch and stabilization. Your job is to ensure that the implementation work has clear ownership, across an integrated plan and a credible forecast.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage an assigned portfolio of concurrent customer implementations, maintaining accurate visibility into stage, forecast, milestones, risks, dependencies and upcoming decisions.

  • Personally project-manage OpenLoop’s largest or most complex strategic account implementation plans.

  • Convert approved scope and functional workplans into one integrated project plan with milestones, accountable owners, dependencies, decision dates, stage gates and acceptance evidence.

  • Establish and control the critical path, distinguishing launch-critical work from activity that can run in parallel.

  • Run implementation governance: kickoff, workstream reviews, project status, risk and decision reviews, readiness gates and executive steering committees.

  • Establish a credible baseline and update the forecast when scope, assumptions, dependencies or capacity change.

  • Own the change-control process, ensuring schedule, resource and launch impact is understood before new work enters the plan.

  • Identify material risks early and drive mitigation or recovery plans with named owners and deadlines.

  • Track customer, vendor and internal dependencies through resolution rather than merely documenting them.

  • Escalate with evidence, options, a recommendation and a decision deadline.

  • Lead implementation-specific client communication while partnering with the CSM on the broader relationship and commercial context.

  • Coordinate UAT planning, including participants, schedule, entry and exit criteria, defect triage, retesting and sign-off tracking.

  • Maintain the launch-readiness view and ensure technical, operational, clinical and customer owners provide the required evidence and approvals.

  • Facilitate evidence-based go/no-go discussions without substituting your judgment for technical or functional sign-off.

  • Coordinate launch, stabilization, closure and a clean transition to Customer Success and Support.

  • Surface shared-resource conflicts and upcoming demand to the Director with sequencing options and a recommendation; do not independently assign technical resources.

  • Keep the project-management system current as the source of truth across assigned accounts.

  • Identify recurring portfolio problems and recommend improvements to PMO playbooks, stage gates and templates.

Who You Are

  • A project manager first. Your value comes from creating control, accountability and predictability—not from performing the implementation yourself.

  • Able to manage several implementations while still going deep enough to lead a strategic account under pressure.

  • Rigorous about critical paths, baselines, forecasts, scope, decisions and dependencies.

  • Direct with clients. You communicate risk before a date has already been missed.

  • Technically fluent without being technically performative. You know which questions to ask and who must answer them.

  • Comfortable creating accountability across teams that do not report to you.

  • Strong with executives, project teams, engineers, operators and customer stakeholders.

  • Disciplined about maintaining the shared source of truth.

  • Pragmatic about process: detailed enough to drive decisions, light enough that teams use it.

  • Clear about decision rights and unwilling to quietly absorb responsibilities that belong elsewhere.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years in project or program management within B2B software, healthcare technology, platforms or technology-enabled services.

  • Direct project-management ownership of external customer implementations from post-sale handoff through launch.

  • Experience managing multiple concurrent implementations or a genuinely complex, multi-workstream strategic account.

  • Strong experience with integrated planning, critical-path management, RAID management, change control and delivery forecasting.

  • Experience leading client project governance and executive steering committees.

  • Experience coordinating UAT, defect triage, launch readiness, cutover and stabilization.

  • Project-management-level fluency across APIs, integrations, data flows, identity, environments, security reviews and testing dependencies.

  • Experience partnering with dedicated implementation engineers, technical consultants or solution architects without assuming their responsibilities.

  • Strong written and verbal executive communication.

  • High data discipline in project-management and portfolio-reporting systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Healthcare, digital health, virtual care or another regulated-industry background.

  • Experience with EMR or clinical-workflow implementations.

  • Experience coordinating pharmacy, lab, clinician-network, credentialing, licensing or multi-state operational dependencies.

  • Experience in a professional-services or client-delivery environment with clear separation between project managers and technical implementers.

  • Experience working within tiered delivery models.

  • PMP, PgMP or equivalent training; evidence of delivery judgment matters more than certification.
