Job Description

We are looking for a proactive, strategic, and detail-oriented Senior HR Manager based in Ecuador to lead and scale our human resources operations.

The ideal candidate is a fully bilingual (English/Spanish) HR professional with a dedicated degree in Human Resources and a master-level understanding of Ecuadorian labor laws. You must have proven experience managing HR functions for companies with large employee headcounts.

While prior global HR experience is a plus, it is not required; however, you must possess a strong willingness to learn about the labor frameworks of the other countries where TeamFicient operates. Your primary mission will be to serve as our absolute HR expert in Ecuador while adapting your skills to support our growing global remote workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ecuadorian Compliance & Payroll: Fully manage Ecuador-related HR and payroll compliance, including strict coordination of statutory benefits, IESS, SRI-related documentation, employment contracts, and local minister-level labor requirements.

  • Large-Scale Headcount Management: Oversee day-to-day HR operations, workforce planning, and organizational structures for large or fast-growing teams.

  • Global Adaptability: Actively learn and adapt to the local labor practices of other international countries where TeamFicient operates to help align company-wide HR strategy.

  • Employee Lifecycle: Manage employee onboarding, orientation, documentation, performance review cycles, and offboarding processes.

  • Employee Relations: Serve as the key point of contact for employee relations, workplace concerns, policy guidance, and corrective action processes.

  • Policy Optimization: Review, improve, and standardize remote HR policies, procedures, employee handbooks, templates, and workflows.
