Build Your Future With Us

The digitization of tax compliance is fundamentally changing global commerce and how businesses need to operate and grow. Governments now have real-time visibility into business data, creating new challenges and new opportunities for organizations around the world. At Sovos, we're transforming tax compliance from a business requirement into a driver of growth through AI-powered technology that delivers the accurate, real-time insights businesses need to make smarter decisions.

We're solving more than today's tax compliance challenges. We're helping reshape global economies by enabling organizations to navigate increasingly complex and rapidly changing regulatory environments with confidence – and helping communities thrive.

AI is accelerating what's possible, enabling tax and technology professionals to more effectively drive critical regulatory decisions. That's where Sovos excels, combining intelligent technology with human expertise to help customers stay ahead of change.

Don't worry if you don't check every box. We're focused on hiring great people, not perfect resumes. It's less about what you've done elsewhere and more about what you're capable of doing here.

The Role

At Sovos, we're building an exceptional employee experience across our global offices, and we need a skilled HR professional to help us get there. As a Senior Human Resource Advisor, you'll partner with employees and leaders across your region to shape engagement initiatives, resolve challenges with empathy and fairness, and ensure our people programmes reflect our values and comply with local requirements.

More specifically, you will:

  • Partner with management to design and implement HR programmes that drive employee engagement, strengthen workplace culture, and support the full employee journey from onboarding through exit.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on employee relations matters, helping resolve issues fairly and promptly while maintaining confidentiality and fostering positive outcomes.
  • Lead the rollout of site-based programmes such as wellness initiatives, community investment activities, internships, and rotation opportunities to create a vibrant, connected workplace.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees on benefits, payroll, policies, and HR processes, proactively developing clear communication materials to enhance the employee experience.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of employment law and compliance requirements in your region, ensuring all HR practices and communications meet legal standards.
  • Support talent acquisition and internal promotion processes, coordinating with global HR teams to deliver a seamless, consistent experience.
  • Leverage AI-powered HR tools and analytics platforms to identify trends, inform decisions, and continuously improve people programmes.

What You Bring to Sovos

  • You've built solid experience in human resources, with a strong foundation in employee engagement, career development, talent management, and employee relations.
  • You're skilled in HR administration, including policy interpretation, compliance, and benefits communication, and you understand how to balance strategic thinking with day-to-day execution.
  • You have exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to navigate difficult or sensitive conversations with empathy and professionalism.
  • You can build relationships and influence at all levels of the organisation, demonstrating well-developed business ethics and discretion.
  • You're comfortable managing multiple priorities, managing shifting priorities and maintaining quality when timelines are tight, and adapting to changing demands.
  • You're familiar with AI-powered HR tools and analytics platforms, and you can interpret data insights to inform decisions and improve employee experience.
  • Experience in human resources with demonstrated expertise in employee engagement, talent management, and employee relations; Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred. HR certification (SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR, CIPD, or other applicable local certification) is a plus but not required — we prioritize demonstrated ability over credentials.
  • Due to client contractual obligations, the successful candidate will be asked to clear a background check upon hire.
