Overview

The Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A is responsible for supporting the company's financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and management reporting processes. This role prepares the analysis, models, and reporting that support FP&A's business partnering across the organization.


Responsibilities

  • Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting packages.
  • Assist with delivery of budget and forecast templates and support the annual budgeting process as well as periodic forecasts.
  • Provide variance analysis and explanations for deviations between actuals, forecast, and budget.
  • Prepare and analyze cash flow reports to monitor liquidity and financial stability.
  • Build and maintain financial models to support forecasting, scenario and sensitivity analysis.
  • Work closely with the accounting team to support accurate and timely delivery of financial reporting
  • Respond to ad hoc financial analysis requests from across the business.
  • Maintain FP&A tools and support system implementations and process improvements, as required.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Professional accounting designation (or working towards).
  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A.
  • Solid understanding of GAAP/IFRS and financial statements.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and reporting tools.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel; experience with ERP systems.

  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
