Who We Need

We are looking for a Commercial Pricing Specialist who can move fast, think commercially, and thrive in a high-volume freight forwarding environment.

Someone who can turn around competitive Air and Ocean freight quotations with speed and accuracy—while actively supporting the sales team in winning business. You should be confident sourcing rates, negotiating with carriers and agents, and following through on quotations to improve conversion and close opportunities.

What You’ll Do

  • RFQ & Quotation Management
    • Manage incoming Air and Ocean freight pricing requests through dedicated mailboxes. Prepare accurate, competitive, and timely quotations while ensuring all client requirements and commercial considerations are addressed.
  • Carrier & Partner Coordination
    • Source and negotiate spot rates with carriers, international agents, and logistics partners. Maintain strong working relationships to secure competitive pricing and reliable service options.
  • Commercial Support to Sales
    • Act as an extension of the sales team by building pricing solutions that improve conversion and support revenue growth. Collaborate closely with Netherlands-based sales teams to align pricing strategies with customer requirements.
  • Follow-ups & Conversion Optimization
    • Actively follow up on submitted quotations to maximize win ratio and conversion opportunities. Maintain proactive communication with customers and agent networks throughout the quotation process.
  • CRM & Activity Management
    • Accurately record quotations, opportunities, and commercial activities in Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Ensure all pricing data and interactions are properly tracked and updated.
  • Volume & SLA Management
    • Handle high volumes of pricing requests in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong turnaround times, accuracy, and attention to detail.


What You Need

  • At least 10 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics pricing/quotation roles
  • Strong knowledge of both Air Freight and Ocean Freight operations
  • Good understanding of Incoterms and carrier pricing structures
  • Proven experience handling RFQs, spot rate sourcing, and freight quotation preparation
  • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to support sales and drive conversion
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent prioritization, organization, and time management skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience using Microsoft Dynamics, CargoWise, or similar logistics/TMS platforms is a plus
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setup while collaborating closely with global teams
  • Strong stakeholder management skills when dealing with customers, carriers, and international agents
