Job Summary
The Senior Director, Employee Engagement develops and leads enterprise-wide strategies and initiatives that enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention. This role partners with senior leadership, Human Resources, and key stakeholders to foster a positive workplace culture, strengthen communication, and align employees with organizational goals and values. The Senior Director leverages data-driven insights to design and implement programs that improve the employee experience and support organizational performance.
Essential Functions
- Develops and implements enterprise strategies and initiatives to promote and enhance workplace culture and employee engagement.
- Leads the development and execution of internal communication strategies aligned with organizational priorities and employee needs.
- Establishes engagement program roadmaps, including budgets, timelines, and measurable outcomes to support sustained culture initiatives.
- Oversees data collection and analysis of engagement metrics, identifies trends, and applies insights to inform business decisions and program effectiveness.
- Recommends and implements targeted strategies to improve employee engagement and strengthen employee connection across the organization.
- Leads the planning and execution of employee engagement events, recognition programs, and communication initiatives to enhance workforce experience and outreach.
- Leverages employee engagement survey results to develop and refine engagement strategies and action plans.
- Provides leadership, guidance, and mentorship to team members and Human Resources partners.
- Builds and maintains effective relationships across corporate and facility leadership to support engagement initiatives and organizational alignment.
- Supports and reinforces organizational mission, vision, values, and standards of behavior.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Maintains regular and reliable attendance.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field required
- Master's Degree preferred
- 7-9 years of experience in Human Resources, employee engagement, communications, or a related function in a leadership or managerial capacity required
- More than 10 years of progressive experience in employee engagement, including program development, communications, and organizational initiatives preferred

- Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills, including change management and executive alignment.
- Advanced communication and interpersonal skills, including development of multi-channel communication strategies.
- Ability to analyze engagement data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities.
Licenses and Certifications
- SPHR or SHRM-SCP preferred
- Certified Communications Management Professional (CMP) preferred
