Position Title: Senior Data Engineer

Location: LATAM

What you will be doing:

As our Data Engineer, you will serve as the primary guardian of our data ecosystem. Our Digital Twin models critical operations, such as complex vehicle routing, and powers both human decision-making and automated downstream systems. In this role, you will champion data quality, verify the integrity of generated data, and own lots of the data footprint that keeps our production environments highly scalable, performant, and flexible.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, or related quantitative field; 5+ years of experience in data analysis, data engineering, or related analytical operations role.

• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL, with demonstrated ability to write, debug, and optimize complex queries and data processing scripts.

• Proven track record of partnering with engineering teams to bridge the gap between technical infrastructure and business logic.

• Experience implementing automated data quality frameworks or validation processes in production environments to ensure reliability.

• Demonstrated ability to translate complex system operations, including model performance and logic, into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders

• Cloud Data Platforms: Hands-on experience with modern data architectures, such as

Databricks.

• Supply Chain & Logistics Domain: Previous experience in supply chain management,

• logistics, or vehicle routing is highly preferred.

• AI/ML Interaction: Familiarity with the AI/ML lifecycle, specifically prototyping, and

tuning AI/ML model logic.

Nice to Have Skills

• BI & Visualization: Experience building high-fidelity dashboards and reporting suites

using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar enterprise-grade visualization platforms.

• Optimization Modeling: Exposure to developing or working with optimization models

and understanding concepts like model drift, scenario analysis, and algorithmic tuning.

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects

• Strong communication skills.
