About DysrupIT

DysrupIT is a consulting-led technology firm. We help mid-market to enterprise businesses solve business problems through technology — whether that's consulting, execution, managed services, or staff augmentation — and we take accountability for the outcome. We are dedicated to making a positive impact in the communities we serve.

Company Culture

At DysrupIT, success isn't measured in headcount placed or hours billed — it's measured in outcomes delivered. We're a team that takes ownership of the work, stays curious about problems beyond our immediate scope, and builds relationships meant to grow, not just renew or end. We invest in our people with the training and support they need to grow their careers, and we back a culture where everyone, regardless of role, is encouraged to notice opportunities, ask one more question, and help lead the story for our clients, not just deliver it.

Job Summary

As a Senior D365 Developer, you will play a key role in building and maintaining external-facing digital experiences and enterprise business applications for our clients, working across Microsoft Power Pages, Power Portals, Power Platform, Dataverse and Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE). This offshore role is hands-on and delivery focused: you will take ownership of assigned build components — configuring, developing, customising and testing solutions — and translate approved solution designs into robust, well-tested implementations that align with agreed architecture, coding standards and Microsoft best practices.

Working closely with onshore Solution Architects, Technical Leads, Functional Consultants, client stakeholders and fellow offshore developers, you will contribute to portal configuration, forms and lists, authentication setup, integrations and data migration activities. As a senior member of the team, you will also provide technical guidance to less experienced developers, support code reviews and quality assurance, escalate risks early and collaborate effectively across time zones to keep delivery on track.

Job Responsibilities

Power Pages & Power Portals Development

  • Build and configure Power Pages and Power Portals sites, including page design, forms, lists, web templates and site settings.
  • Develop and maintain Liquid templates, JavaScript, CSS and HTML to deliver responsive, accessible external-facing experiences.
  • Configure Power Pages authentication and authorisation, including external identity providers, web roles, table permissions, page permissions and portal security, in line with the agreed solution design.
  • Implement portal navigation, content management structures and user journeys as defined by the solution architect.
  • Contribute to design decisions relating to portal user experience, performance, maintainability and enterprise deployment readiness.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve portal configuration, rendering, performance and security issues.
  • Support portal upgrades, environment refreshes and ongoing maintenance activities.

Power Apps, Dataverse & Automation Development

  • Build and configure model-driven apps, canvas apps, Dataverse tables, relationships, business rules and command bar customisations to specification.
  • Develop Power Automate flows to support business processes, notifications and system integrations.
  • Configure Dataverse security roles, forms, views and business logic in line with governance standards set by the architecture team.
  • Apply ALM and solution management practices, including solution layering, managed and unmanaged solutions and environment promotion.
  • Write clean, well-documented, reusable configuration and code that follows Microsoft best practices and agreed delivery standards.
  • Ensure solutions are developed for long-term maintainability, operational support, extensibility and security.

Integrations & Data Migration

  • Build and test integrations between Power Platform solutions and third-party enterprise systems using APIs, custom connectors and Azure Integration Services, as directed by the solution architect.
  • Implement API-based integration patterns, data exchange processes, error handling and monitoring requirements.
  • Support data migration activities including extraction, transformation, loading, mapping, validation and reconciliation.
  • Assist with mapping legacy data, external user accounts and portal records into Dataverse.
  • Identify and escalate data quality, integration and migration issues to the technical lead, and support remediation planning.
  • Ensure integration and data migration activities address security, privacy, compliance and auditability requirements.

Testing, Quality & Delivery

  • Conduct unit testing, functional testing and defect resolution for assigned build components prior to handover.
  • Participate in and contribute to code reviews and peer reviews, applying feedback to improve build quality.
  • Follow established coding standards, naming conventions and documentation practices.
  • Maintain accurate build documentation, configuration notes, deployment steps and handover materials.
  • Track assigned tasks, provide regular status updates and flag risks or blockers promptly.
  • Support estimation, sprint planning and release activities, and help manage technical dependencies across the workstream.

Technical Guidance & Collaboration

  • Work closely with onshore solution architects, technical leads and functional consultants to clarify requirements and confirm design intent.
  • Collaborate with other offshore developers and testers to coordinate build activities and manage dependencies.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers, supporting knowledge transfer and capability growth.
  • Communicate progress, issues and technical questions clearly across time zones to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Escalate risks, issues and delivery concerns in a timely and constructive manner.
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative offshore delivery team culture.

Continuous Improvement

  • Stay current with Power Platform, Power Pages, Power Portals and Dataverse product updates and capabilities.
  • Contribute reusable components, templates, accelerators and configuration patterns to the team's asset library.
  • Proactively suggest improvements to build efficiency, code quality and delivery processes.
  • Support the adoption and enforcement of technical governance, coding standards and deployment controls.
  • Build growing expertise toward future solution architecture or technical leadership pathways.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 4 to 5+ years of experience developing Microsoft Power Platform, Dynamics 365 or business application solutions.
  • Strong hands-on experience building Power Pages or Power Portals solutions, including forms, lists, web templates, Liquid, JavaScript and CSS.

  • Experience supporting data migration activities including mapping, transformation, validation, reconciliation and cutover.
  • Experience working within Agile or Hybrid delivery methodologies and with Azure DevOps practices.
  • Strong attention to detail, a methodical approach to testing and a genuine interest in producing high-quality, maintainable solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with onshore teams and client stakeholders across time zones.
  • Consulting or professional services experience is desirable.
