Role Summary

This role leads the testing program across the customer journey. Testing already happens across multiple teams, platforms, and stages of the customer journey. This role brings it together: one roadmap prioritized by data, shared standards and a KPI framework for how tests are designed and judged, rigorous analysis of results, and clear recommendations for the Director and leadership. It doesn't run every test. It makes sure the right tests get run, run well, and add up to a strategy.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Map and continuously refine the customer journey's key stages, touchpoints, KPIs, and data points relevant to conversion and testing.
  • Own the cross-departmental testing roadmap and prioritize it using data (traffic, revenue potential, funnel drop-off)—not siloed queues or department urgency.
  • Own and evolve the testing KPI framework, maintaining an independent, data-driven view of where and why the journey underperforms.
  • Own results analysis (statistical significance, incremental revenue, win-rate) and translate findings into forward-looking recommendations, not just readouts.
  • Deliver regular test performance and roadmap reporting to the Director and executive stakeholders.
  • Set a lightweight, consistent process for proposing, documenting, and running tests across departments, including a shared, prioritized intake queue.
  • Strengthen incoming test briefs by sharpening hypotheses and success metrics.
  • Arbitrate conflicts when departments want to test the same page or audience simultaneously.
  • Maintain a shared repository of test learnings so knowledge isn't siloed.
  • Run a standing (weekly/biweekly) test-review cadence with department contributors.
  • Scope approved tests by writing briefs and hypotheses for execution partners (copy, dev, design) to build and directly execute highly specialized tests when a full department route isn't practical.
  • Represent testing strategy in cross-functional planning (dev sprints, content calendar, lifecycle) so testing is built in from the start.
  • Partner with Data Engineering to ensure the data platform captures, structures, and surfaces what's needed to analyze the full customer journey.

Qualifications & Skills

Required Experience

  • 5+ years in experimentation, CRO, or growth analytics, including experience leading or managing a testing program across multiple teams.
  • Experience at a DTC ecommerce brand doing $100M+ in annual revenue.
  • Experience with subscription or replenishment business models.
  • Strong quantitative skills: statistical significance, funnel analysis, and measuring the revenue impact of test results, including working across multiple data sources.
  • Proven ownership of a testing program, not just individual tests: building or improving a roadmap, prioritization model, KPI framework, or testing process.
  • Track record of solid partnerships across departments (content, lifecycle/CRM, development, design) without directly managing those teams, and bringing them into a shared process.
  • Experience creating documentation, processes, and shared resources that teams actually use.
  • The ability to turn analysis into clear, concise recommendations for leadership, in writing and in person.
  • Comfortable moving between strategy (roadmap, prioritization, governance) and hands-on work, including configuring or running a test directly when needed.
  • Familiarity with common CRO/testing and analytics tooling (e.g., A/B testing platforms, web analytics, session recording/heatmap tools).

Preferred Experience

  • Health and wellness or supplement industry experience.
  • Familiarity with systems such as WordPress, Shopify, Klaviyo, Recharge, and / or FullStory.
  • Experience with attribution, or partnering with a data engineering team on a data warehouse or data lake.

Work from Home Requirements

  • Up-to-date Mac or Windows computer with anti-virus protection
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection
  • Quiet, distraction-free workspace
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new tools and software
  • Must be comfortable and experienced using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word, OneDrive)
