ResponsibilitiesWhat You'll Do
The Government highly relies on strong CPARS records to select and award contractors is essential for maintaining customer trust and securing future contract awards. V2X is looking for a seasoned and dynamic individual with expert level knowledge of the Government Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System (CPARS) evaluation and assessment process to train, mentor, and educate the entire V2X enterprise on the Government CPARS process, the V2X CPARS framework. This position will manage and report to senior leadership the ratings and comments trends and work directly with all programs that receive Government performance evaluations to establish a CPARS plan, help develop V2X Contractor assessments, and lead the rebuttals of any V2X CPARS assessment that does not meet company standards. The candidate for this position shall possess exceptional writing skills, be highly adapt with the Government CPAR system, have SharePoint site experience, and be able to work cross functionally with all business areas to collect performance data and synthesize a compelling and professional performance assessments and rebuttals. The right candidate will be a self-starter, have the drive to proactively monitor and engage the business areas to push towards exceptional ratings. This position requires the abilities to assess statements of work (SOW), contract requirements, interpret terms and conditions and regulatory provisions, and program review artifacts to develop program specific CPARS evaluation plans, assessments, and rebuttals.Serving as a critical integrator across program delivery, contracts, and quality teams to document compliant, high-performing execution of government contracts, this position will take part in program reviews and lead contract compliance audits to ensure all contracts are operating in accordance with the contract terms and conditions and SOW requirements and aligned with CPARS evaluation criteria..This position will support operational excellence by identifying performance risks, assisting in corrective actions, and ensuring the organization is best positioned for strong CPARS ratings.
This critical role ensures the organization not only meets contractual obligations but also demonstrates excellence in execution, communication, and continuous improvement. The CPARS Self-Assessment Liaison serves as a strategic partner in shaping the company’s reputation and long-term competitiveness in the government contracting space.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary lead and subject matter expert to develop a corporate CPARS plan and work directly with the business area and program teams to develop program specific CPARS plans.
- Working with the Program Managers, Contracts, and Quality teams to ensure unified understanding of CPARS evaluation criteria for contract requirements, deliverables, and performance expectations. Lead internal self-assessments against CPARS performance categories (Quality, Schedule, Cost Control, Management, Small Business Subcontracting, Regulatory Compliance) and deliver CPARS-aligned self-assessment scorecards for leadership review.
- Develop and maintain assessment tools, checklists, and evidence repositories to support accurate performance evaluation.
- Coordinate with program and quality teams to gather objective performance data and proactively identify improvement opportunities that enhance contract performance and customer satisfaction.
- Provide advisory support to program teams in the preparation of CPARS-related documentation, including fact-based rebuttal responses that identify any errors, misstatements, or omissions.
- Report and brief senior leadership on CPARS ratings and comments trends and analysis, develop plans to achieve company goals as it relates to CPARS.
- Works with Contracts, Finance, Small Business Liaison, and Program Manager (the “Program Team”) to prepare program specific CPARS plans, Contractor Assessments, and Rebuttals.
- Works with Capture and Program Teams to support past performance citations and responses for proposals.
- Monitors, analysis, and reports to leadership CPARS ratings, comments, etc.
- Refines, improves, and establishes standard operating procedure, policy, systems, files, etc.
- Perform other related duties as required.
QualificationsQualifications
- Education:
- BS/BA in Contracts, Business Administration, Management, Finance, Acquisition, or related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 6+ years’ experience broad-based U.S. Government contracts management or related experience
- Understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), agency supplements, Govt. acquisition/RFP process and Uniform Commercial Code.
- Preferred Experience:
- Experience with proposal development and Contract negotiations

- Individual must be a self-starter with an extraordinary attention to detail and must possess exceptional organizational and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills are required, to include the ability to effectively communicate face-to-face with customers and other professionals regarding complex issues real-time in a professional manner.
- Extraordinary inter-personal skills in a diverse and potentially geographically dispersed team environment are essential and the individual must possess very strong abilities in building and maintaining professional relationships.
- Strong business acumen and team partnering mentality is essential.
- Must have strong demonstrated business management, contract negotiation, and verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment while balancing many tasks and priorities.
- Expert level of proficiency with MS Office software; particularly Excel.

- The following salary range is intended to display the value of the company’s base pay compensation and may be modified at the discretion of the company.
- USD $145,000 - $205,000
