We’re the team iGaming operators turn to when growth matters most — and we’re growing fast ourselves. At Receptional, you’ll find colleagues who are bright, ambitious, and genuinely supportive. Specialists who do their best work together, sharing ideas, moving fast, and holding themselves to a high bar.
Whether you’re starting out or stepping up, you’ll get genuine investment in your development through our internal academy, real variety in your work, and a direct impact on some of the biggest names in the industry. Competitive benefits, flexible working, and a team that has your back.
We were named Marketing Services Supplier of the Year at the EGR B2B Awards 2026, and Best Medium Agency to Work For at the Company Culture Awards 2025 — recognition for the work we do and the place we’ve built to do it.
Content for iGaming isn’t like content anywhere else. The compliance requirements are strict, the editorial standards are high, and the volumes are significant. As a Senior Content Specialist at Receptional you’ll be running the content production operation for our off-page link-building campaigns — owning the brief-to-publish pipeline across AI-assisted and freelance production models, managing the freelance bench, setting and holding editorial standards, and keeping a complex multi-source operation running reliably to SLA.
You’ll need a genuine passion for sport, deep iGaming content knowledge, and the commercial awareness to manage margin as well as quality. It’s a senior role with real operational ownership and a clear path to Content Manager for the right person.
This is a senior content operations role with genuine breadth. You’ll be running the full content production pipeline for iGaming link-building campaigns — from brief to delivery — while managing a freelance bench, driving the AI-assisted production model, and acting as the content compliance authority across everything that goes out under Receptional’s name. It’s hands-on, fast-paced, and commercially demanding.
In practice, that looks like:
- Running the end-to-end content production pipeline — brief, draft, edit, QA, delivery — making the process repeatable so quality doesn’t depend on any one person
- Owning and continuously improving the AI-assisted production model across iGaming verticals — football, casino, horse racing, and niche sports
- Managing the freelance bench end to end: sourcing, testing, onboarding, grading, rate negotiation, contracts, performance management, and replacement
- Setting and holding the editorial standard through clear briefs, the Content Team Style Guide, and rigorous QA before anything reaches the client
- Applying thorough, current knowledge of iGaming advertising regulations and responsible gambling standards across all content output — compliance is a core part of this role, not a background consideration
- Tracking content margin month on month — managing AI, freelance, and third-party spend against client fees and flagging commercial risks early
- Line managing in-house content team members where applicable — 1-2-1s, PDPs, SMART goals, and coaching
- Acting as the content point of contact for clients on day-to-day queries and joining strategy sessions when content is on the agenda
- Staying aligned with the Outreach team through daily huddles — content and outreach moving in sync
You’ll need to be an experienced content operator as much as a writer — someone who can set a standard, build a process, manage a bench of freelancers, and keep a high-volume pipeline running without quality slipping. The iGaming sector adds a compliance layer that’s non-negotiable at this level: thorough, current knowledge of advertising regulations and responsible gambling standards is essential, not desirable. And a genuine passion for sport isn’t a nice-to-have — it’s foundational to doing this job well.
Essential:
- At least 2 years’ experience creating content for the iGaming sector — proven track record across sports betting, casino, or lottery verticals
- Thorough and current knowledge of iGaming advertising regulations and responsible gambling standards — applied independently, not with guidance
- A genuine passion for sport and strong understanding of iGaming content across sports betting, casino, and lottery
- Strong project management skills — you run a complex multi-source production pipeline to SLA without dropping quality
- Strong editorial judgement — you set a standard and hold it through review and spot-checks
- Experience managing a content production operation across AI, in-house, and freelance resource
- Freelance or contractor management: sourcing, rates, quality control, and roster management
- Advanced proficiency in AI content tooling — you improve and scale pipelines, not just use the tools
- Commercial awareness — you understand content margin, third-party spend, and pricing
- Line management or mentoring experience — you’ve developed people, not just worked alongside them
Desirable:
- Deep knowledge of iGaming verticals — particularly horse racing, niche sports, and lottery
- Experience with Signal or equivalent content production management tooling
- Experience with WordPress, Grammarly, and GA4
- Previous agency experience with client-facing responsibilities
- Proficiency in Ahrefs, Monday.com, and Google Search Console
