About Bridge Carbon
Bridge Carbon develops high-integrity carbon projects across Africa and Asia, delivering measurable climate impact while improving lives and strengthening communities. Quality, accuracy and integrity are at the heart of everything we do.

The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Manager to set and maintain high quality standards across our carbon project portfolio. You will design, build and own Bridge Carbon's Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring every project is delivered in line with clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ISO-aligned quality and risk management principles, and Lean continuous-improvement practices.

You will lead our Country QA Managers and data validation teams, and work closely with the Senior Carbon Integrity Manager (monitoring, reporting, validation and verification) and the Senior Carbon Operations Manager (project piloting, implementation and community engagement) to embed quality across every carbon activity.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Control Strategy & Systems
• Define and own the quality control strategy, including data and documentation quality
• Design, implement and maintain a robust QMS, drawing on input from legal, compliance, finance and carbon operations teams
• Own non-conformance, corrective and preventive action (CAPA) and management review processes
• Establish document management systems, templates and processes so every carbon project maintains auditable documentation
• Ensure all project activity is governed by clear, auditable SOPs across the full delivery life cycle
• Define and embed data quality standards with the IT/Data team, including QA/QC, validation rules, uncertainty management, auditability and traceability
• Support the development of data collection tools that capture high-quality field data
• Work with country QA leads to embed quality standards in daily project activities

Internal Quality Audits
• Establish an internal audit framework and SOP in collaboration with carbon, compliance and legal teams
• Lead a risk-based internal audit calendar against SOPs, carbon standards and methodologies, and data integrity requirements
• Audit field data collection, QA/QC procedures and partner compliance, including environmental and social safeguards
• Introduce spot checks to keep documentation complete and up to date
• Build a culture of continuous audit readiness, not dependent on verification cycles
• Track non-conformities and ensure timely root-cause analysis and closure of findings

Continuous Improvement
• Build a culture of continuous improvement across the quality team
• Establish standard quality metrics across the portfolio
• Use audit outcomes and lessons learned to improve SOPs and reduce rework and verification delays
• Lead initiatives that drive operational excellence, including training and performance tracking

Data Collection & Reporting
• Gather survey requirements across carbon operations and develop field survey instruments with the IT team
• Own internal carbon operations tracking and reporting against key objectives and results

What We're Looking For
• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, sustainability, quality management or a related field, or equivalent practical experience (Master's degree preferred)
• Formal quality qualification such as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or Implementer (advantageous)
• Proven experience auditing against recognised carbon standards (e.g. Verra, Gold Standard) and working with validation and verification bodies (VVBs)
• A track record of building or substantially improving a QMS, including SOP design, document control and CAPA processes
• Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 principles and Lean or continuous-

    improvement methods
• Experience leading distributed, multi-country teams
• Experience in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills

Key Attributes
• Brings structure to complex, ambiguous situations and turns quality principles into practical processes
• Breaks complex work into clear milestones, owners and dependencies, and holds people accountable fairly
• Builds trust and gets things done across functions and through people they don't directly manage
• Develops people intentionally, with clear feedback and room to grow
• Communicates clearly and concisely with stakeholders at all levels
• Has high emotional intelligence, strong integrity and a commitment to accuracy and analytical rigour

Why Join Us
This is a rare opportunity to build the quality foundation for a growing portfolio of high-impact climate projects, working with passionate teams across Africa and Asia.
