Summary

This is an opportunity for a candidate with critical analytical skills, business acumen and a technical systems understanding.  This role will apply their knowledge of processes to analyze and document business requirements for a technically diverse team.  Candidates should be self-motived to dig into the details and learn. Experience and enthusiasm for a fast-paced, changing environment is a must.  Positivity and out of the box thinking to solve difficult problems is critical.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Facilitate product discovery discussions with the product managers/product owners and business end-users to gather business requirements for new products
• Analyze and document business requirements in the form of epics, stories and acceptance criteria in JIRA for both business and technical audiences
• Define & document acceptance criteria for user stories in a given-when-then format
• Produce meeting minutes and summarize key decisions points at conclusion of discussions
• Collaborate with Product Management and Agile development teams to communicate detailed product requirements for development
• Create business process workflows and any other artifacts required as needed
• Work with technical visionaries to document implementation steps and other deliverables
• Ability to efficiently support multiple simultaneous work streams, including projects and program initiatives, and prioritize, manage, and execute effectively with compressed time lines and ambiguous tasking

Required Qualifications:

• Prefers a Bachelor’s Degree in Information systems, Business Systems, Management Information Systems, IT Management, or other IT degree.
• The ability to successfully obtain and maintain a U.S. Suitability/Public Trust Background Clearance
• 5+ years of experience with technical and business requirements
• Ability to work collaboratively with architecture, development and test teams to interpret requirements
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills 
• Agility to adapt to changing priorities and direction
• Excellent communication (both verbally and writing) and presentation skills
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Experience with collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Figma
• Self-motivated to learn

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with US federal government clients
• Experience in web design usability testing and ability to synthesize test findings
• Experience in using AI models
• Understanding of Product Management
• Experience with facilitating training sessions and demos for end user

Salary Range

The proposed salary range for this role is $120,000 to $135,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Karsun considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
